Are you talking about the Sanskrit Svasti rendition? I highly doubt that a public schooled individual, such as Earl, would even know about the Monkish beginnings, let alone know what a Monk is. I know a kid who goes to mass on Sunday and goes to Catholic school who has aspergers. So I don't even know what point you are trying to make. And until you're the surgeon general and you change the fact that aspergers exists, stop saying it doesn't and offending everyone and everyone who knows someone who has it. I just wanted to say something, and this is mostly in response to what Mahnarch said about people with Aspegers = overweight, anti social nerds.
(I have Aspergers btw, so does that mean I don't exist? lol)
God dammit mahnarch, I had a whole polite message written out that was going to question your ideas but I just decided to go the quick and nasty route - It'll make me feel better when I'm nursing my imaginary disorder.
Jesus, I also wrote out a nasty post but it didn't satisfy my anger. So I'm going to just post this -
Leave this website and never come back. The level of intelligence you have displayed, not the "Look, I can drive a firetruck! Also planes! I am teh smart!" but the ignorance and stubborness that you have rubbed in our noses is far too much for anyone on this site to withstand.

Umm, who said asthma was fake? Eh, oh well.
I don't have Aspergers but I do have a bit of asthma. I'm actually pretty social, I play guitar, I know my limits, and as well as that I'm social in both the real world and the geek world. It's not that hard so, Dr. Manarch, there are people on this forum that DO have a life and are actually skinnier than what you think.
BTW, the worst thing that I've had was Anemia.
EDIT: I'm in a Technical School which is public and I've been taught positively. Don't think too badly about public schools (or at least the ones in Mexico)

Saying Asberger's, ADD, and asthma don't exist means you don't believe in more than 350 million people. And insulting people ith Asberger's means you hate hundreds of thousands of people. Ok...ADD is made up? Well...I've got the hyperactive version of it, and as a kid, yeah I bounced off the walls and flew higher than a kite, had concentration issues in school, the whole nine.
I did say something in a topic posted by Pumpkin earlier, but I guess I'll further say it here. As long as it's got a name, in the medical world, it's real. As far as the world outside of that goes, I don't know. What gets me is the fact parents who are too quick to give up on the kids who may be a bit of a handful, run to the doctor for a diagnosis and some pills. Medication solves it all right? Hardly. It can make it worse even. Believe me, I've been through it all with those damn pills, including sleeping in class, major mood changes, and paranoia.
Why must everything be categorized, and by the way, what is the definition of "normal?" Now yes, there's standards in every society and all that, but I'd say, save the diagnosis and whip out the meds, not for the un-conforming but otherwise healthy people, but for those dangerous and seriously off the wall nutjobs who roam free since the state asylums were shut down.
To this flame war that erupted, well, Mahnarch has a right to an opinion, and I'll admit even I don't agree with some of it 100%, but to tell him to go die is just totally uncalled for.
Also, a note on that swastika. The opposite facing one is not the nazi kind, but everyone knows any type of swastika to be evil.
