I like Sundays because for some reason I seem to be the most focused whether I'm playing ball or whatever I am doing I just seem to do it better most of the time on Sundays.

Saturday. Reason? Two words: GAME DAY. I bet you weren't at College Gameday on ESPN though. I was there for about four hours... and it was crazy. Then add the fact that I stood for the entire game. College football is insane, and I love every minute of it.

Notre Dame pulled out a thriller the other day I figured they were done for long before. But that's what makes it so exciting to watch.

Most Saturdays I'm pretty focused too but Sunday just happens to be my day for whatever reason. I'm even more into the game than on anyother day for the most part.

So, I was wrong. A little research into the area gave evidence that Saturday is named after the Roman god Saturn, who was seen as the equivalent of the Anglo-Saxon god Loki.
The days stand as thus:
Sunday - Only day with Egyptian origins in name, no Norse god equivalent. Monday - Mani's day (moon god) Tuesday - Tyr's day (god of kicking ass) Wednesday - Odin's day (king of gods) Thursday - Thor's day (god of thunder, god of rain) Friday - Freya's day (goddess of fertility) Saturday - Loki's day (god of trickery)
Given this information, my new answer is Tuesday, since Tyr hands it out and takes names.

Saturday is usually the only day I get to stay home. During the week I'm almost always at my parents buisiness, where there isn't much else to do other than use a computer.. That and run around like crazy. I'm there right now. On sundays we usually go shopping at Trader Joes, then go somewhere to do something. Like a coffee shop. And sit there. For hours. While my dad drinks his tea and does the day's crossword puzzle. So I guess sundays aren't all that bad, but I still prefer Saturdays.
Nothing beats a Friday evening though. Your free to do anything and you have the whole weekend ahead of you.

What kind of business are your parents in?
My father started a contracting business before my parents were even married. He started the business in 1965 he was still in his 20s. But the business grew and my 2 older brothers run it now. My dad is still a part of it but he's mostly retired and the brothers do the business and the needs of it.
I worked there a little in my latter growing up years but when I persued my baseball career it took me several states away so obviously that wouldn't be possible right now for me to participate in that.
