Wasps try to take over my house. And they're aggressive! This is wierd, but I've seen bees eat through the wall of my friend's apartment. I didn't think they did stuff like that. Very strange experience. Am not very familiar with bumblebees. Do they sting?

Thats understandable Phil and Jason. I watched a few people get stung at my dads softball game Tuesday. Damn yellowjackets. Three people got stung in total. BTW, we completely effed up that nest. I swear we must have killed 100 hornets with that spray. Damn stuff is powerful. Nest is knocked down, gone for good. And not 1 sting sustained. Whew! Excellent! Congrats.

Ok, werwoof. SERIOUSLY, STOP BUMPING OLD THREADS! This is about the 5th thread from nearly a year ago that you've bumped.

Very strange experience. Actually you may end up surprised how much damage insects in this case bees can do. Being that I work at a railroad yard bee hives are all over the place. And they do find weeknesses in drywall and pole through it. Window screens too.

As a rule on any message board, you should not post in any topic from more than 6 months ago, and that's being lenient, unless you have something very important to say.

When have you ever said anything important, Sparky? First of all, Second of all, that isn't relative to anything. I was posting a rule that almost everyone knows, and you responded with a lame comeback. Third of all:Sparky? ?

I see. And so he leaves because I told him not to post in old, dead topics... I'm thinking that it's for the best.

While it's generally felt that once a topic reaches a certain age to let it die. Brick said 6 months I've even heard 2 days from some people. Of course 2 days is not realistic. It is generally felt that after a reasonable time and I don't really know what that boundry is a topic should be left down.
Then again sometimes a person will post something in a similar subject other members say 'why did you start a new thread to talk about insects when we already have a topic like that?' so in that way you can't win.
I do think it's good to cut some new members some slack. Lewasite is generally a friendly forum and I perfer to cut new members a little slack and bumping an old topic is far more acceptable than insulting members or posting vulgar or links to porn sites.
I think Werwoof is a good member.

Let's review what happened:
Werwooof bumped several old topics I told him to stop and explained that six months was a lenient boundary for not posting. He insulted me I asked him to PM me, at which point he told me to learn some manners and deleted his account.

Does anyone have a problem with this topic being bumped? Whats wrong with talking about it some more? NOTE: The following might be a bit one-perspective like, because I do't spend much time here, and I don't know te actions of all the members.
Is this the first topic that werewolf bumbed like this? If so, provide a warning, kindly, and let it go. It it happens a few more times, then actions should be taken.

Do to the nature of how he was bumping them, i'd say that he was doing it on purpose to be kind of a jerk. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am: Why would he be so sarcastic and insulting about being told not to do something so small? Problem with authority; can't accept being wrong? See what I mean...
I think it's pretty obvious that he was well aware of what he was doing. Anyways, he deleted his account. So... B'humbug to him.
That's my $0.02.
