I've started work on the Hermit Crab and Aeshi Nero, since those are Kentaro's two favorite creations of his.
Hermit Crab, with all animation and fundamental effects, such as muzzle flash and sparks. Now with wake.
Aeshi Nero biting with just about all the effects. Now animations are at the correct speed, and correct smoke palette and speed at the start (I knew it was wrong somehow).
Aeshi charging Hyper Cannon. No effects yet.
