im sure everyone here knows Bat Out Of Hell, especially if you are over 20. it's by Meat Loaf and Jim Stienman, and one of the greatest albums ever, of all time.
he came out with bat out of hell II a while ago, it was a minor succcess, but compared to the original, a huge dissapointment.
anyway, a few days ago Bat Out Of Hell III was released.
It is great!
If you could take pure awsomeness, and mould that into an album, thats what you get. of course its nothing compared to bat out of hell 1(nothing ever will be), bat out of hell III is still amazing. Meat Loaf is also known for only being successful when jim stienman from the band dream theatre writes his music, but this album Meat Loaf did most of everything by himself. many people perform on the album, including Queen's guitarist Brian May.
His style has changed dramatically. besides his great vocals, a lot of the songs are very unique and nothing like Meat Loaf has ever done. he still stayed true to his rock opera like songs, but added a more modern sound to it, which can especially be heard on the opening track.
The album is full of hits and has no fillers on it. great tracks include:
The Monster Is Loose
Blind As a Bat
In The Land Of The Pigs, The Butcher is King
The Future Aint What It Used To Be
i highly suggest anyone to purchase this album, or at least download it. I will own a legal copy on november 30th(or if I manage to get a chance to get out of town sooner)
Which brings me to another point, I AM GOING TO A BLUEMAN GROUP CONCERT.
November 30-31, im going to toronto for a play, movie(at an indie theatre), jazz concert, museum tour, AND THE BLUEMAN GROUP!
im just hoping rush will open for them...
