I just got back into rollerskating. That started kind of recently. I did it a lot when I was in School. My Friends and I have gotten into that around New Years. I still use the four quad skates. Everybody else prefers the rollerblade type but I love it. Its fun and it's good exercise yet it's not too tough to do.

I have skated with both. I play roller hockey and inline skates I think are much easier.

I'm into aggressive inline skating. I'm pretty excited, too... the skatepark here in town has dried off and I'm probably going to be able to go tomorrow for the first time this year.

That's more than I would do. I was a pretty good skateboarder when I was a teenager.

I got to go to the skatepark today! w00tness!
Well, the only thing cleared is the miniramp (a small ramp structure strongly resembling a very small halfpipe). There were a bunch of other skaters there. I learned one new trick, too - 50/50 frontside grind to 180 on the miniramp. I only fell once, too.

Tonight I spent some time outside my house rollerblading tonight. It's fun, I can do some simple tricks. I used to play a little roller hockey, which is nothing short of a blast, but I don't know anybody who would play now.

I play street hockey. That's how my best jeans got practically the entire left leg ripped off from the knee down. They look cooler that way, though. The chicks dig it.
It's kinda dangerous, though, since we use this hard plastic ball with this heavy liquid inside that's supposed to make the ball not bounce. It hurts like a mother when you get pegged by a slapshot going fifty miles an hour.

In school I not only played baseball, but I also was a tight end and defensive back in football and an icehockey defenseman. I was an alternate in basketball too.
I love rollerblades. I perfer them to old school skates now.

How similar is blade skating to ice skating?, cause ive been ice skating. In my opinion roller blading is a lot easier because you can't slip on the ice. Last Christmas break ('05) I went ice skating for the first time. I had been rollerblading for a while by then and I thought I would be good at it. I wasn't. I fell like 3 times before I got used to the ice

Yeah I still like the quad type of skates better than rollerblades, though.

I put blades on and skate sometimes. I go ice skating on a frozen fountain some Sundays during the winter months. I started ice skating when I was 3 or 4. Otherwise I rollerblade in the park summermonths once and a while.
