Hey Jason! What type of birds do you have? I have alot of birds here.... I have: cockatiels, parakeets, lovebirds, ducks, one emu, one parrot, chickens, doves, some very old finches, and one baby peacock. I think thats it, though I may have missed one or two... I'm enjoying summer vacation too, except for the fact that it is HOT here. But other than that, its been nice so far.

Gifgiff came from my real first name Griffin. My best friend always greeted me as "Its Gifgiff!!" so thats where it came from. The 'ish' part was from the name Catfish, because I was almost named Catfish at birth.

Catfish? At least you'd be the only 1 at school with that name. But maybe not with the names some people give their kids nowdays.
My sons are just Jason and Eric nothing too catchy like that.

Actually I was the only person in my school with the name Griffin. There was someone with Griffin as their last name, but that was it. Of coarse, my school wasn't all that big, considering there was only 400 kids in it. I've met many people with my name before... About four I think. just every once in a while I'd here "Griffin! Get over here!" and it wouldn't be in my mom's voice. Jason and Eric are fine names. They were the names of two of my friends in school, so I think they were good choises

My Son's name is Jacob. He is a year and a half old. We haven't fully decided what to name our forthcoming Baby. Griffin is a nice name Gifish. I would definately name a Baby that before Catfish. ;D

Yeah, I think Griffin is a cool name too.
I happen to like John better for a few certain reasons, one of which being that it's my name.

From what my parents say, I would only respond to Catfish when I was little, so they didn't exactly have a choice . But I guess I finally got over that stage, and they named me Griffin, which I'm certainly happy with. Well, Blastgirl, there are alot of names to consider.. Do you know if its a boy or a girl yet?

Names are interesting.
Names like John, Joe, David, Mike are every generation. When I was in school there were no Tyler, Dylan, or Cody. But those names are everywhere now.
My generation had a ton of Scott and Kevin but my paretns generation didn't have those names. They had names like Chet and Fred.

Yeah. The new thing is to screw with the spelling to make it "unique," like Bryianna and Kaiti instead of Brianna and Katie. In fact, one of Autumn's friend's name is K'leb (pronounced Caleb).

I know for certain that my children are going to have NORMAL names. Ill see about another John C. somewhere in there. John C's are a family tradition dating back at least two centuries.

It's often customary to name a son after the father. We didn't in our case but my wife was always accustomed to names Jason are Eric. Maybe if we have another son I'll get a junior but that's not hugely inportant to me to have a son named after me.

I suppose I'll put this here, because I don't think I can find a better place for it.
*Ahem* Anyways, I know I've been gone for quite a while. But I'm gonna be gone even longer, as I'm going to be in Oregon for a few weeks. I can't wait! I will have some internet up there though, but only at the local coffee shop. So I'll try to remember to post here when I have the chance. Remembering seems to be a problem thou-*choughcoughcough*
Erm.. Yeah so I'm gonna be gone for a while. I'm really going to try to stay here after that. So see you in a few weeks, or a day.. Depending on when I have internet up there!
