This afternoon I played preseason against my old team. Well the standard road game procedure is to go to your team's home park and catch a team bus to the game and back.
I was given permission to just come to the park because I live here and didn't want to make the trip twice only to be here anyway.
Well, being on the visiting team I couldn't park in the players lot I had to park in the spectators lot and pay for parking. It's kind of funny.
I batted 4 for 6 and homered too. So it was quite a homecoming. Preseason means absoultely nothing though. Oh well bragging rights are nice.

That's bogus they could have just let you park in the lot. Is it that crowded that they couldn't fit 1 more car.

Today was worse. The game was called in the 6th on account of rain. Most local schools were off today and therefore the park was more crowded than usual for a weekday afternoon game so I had to park pretty far away. I guess I'll never see the franchise tag.

Boo hooo, you won't melt. TEE HEE.
I still work in the offices of the former team so I got to park in the inside ramp under the office building. ;D I didn't get wet.

Maybe she has razzed me a bit at a more sutiable time but never has she laughed at me if I messed up. And she gets madder at the papers and the radio commentators than I do.
