i can't believe the things that has been going on in Baltimore. I will be preying for everyone going through this nightmare. from what I last read there was a large building on fire with possible people trapped inside. fifteen police officers hurt. looting at stores and setting people's homes on fire while families could be inside. from what I know a guy has died in police custody what seems to be possible police brutality that started all these riots. I also understand there have been a lot of police brutality cases on the rise with many cases nothing was done. I know people are angry if that was the case but what does all this violence solve and hurting possibly killing police officers who had nothing to do with police brutality all they want is to help people and save lives. they now are going against these protesters in what looks like a war zone. businesses are being looted and destroyed along with the entire community. this to me should not be happening. it's like they are simply looking for a excuse for this kind of behavior. you have to be a sick monster to set a building on fire knowing there could be people trapped inside. I hope things quiet down and they can arrest these thugs and put a end to this violence.

I never understood this kind of looting or rioting. Has any rioting group ever gotten their way? If push really came to shove with riots the military was called and protestors were shot.
Protests an pickets are perfectly fine. But what is the sense of burning and destroying a drug store? Rite Aid pharmacy didn't kill the person that they accuse the police of killing. Neither did the people of the neighborhood. If you were a person of Baltimore this is not the kind of national publicity that you want your city to receive either. There's ways to protest and this just isn't it

There's been a lot of riots against the police. The riots are supposed to flush the police out and have a private war with them.
You're right I don't see destroying local stores but that would bring out the police daring them to respond. Obviously they think they're making statements against the police but they're really just making problems.

i felt horrible for the town that had to deal with curfews and so much violence. the mother who was seen in the video smacking her son in the head on live tv because he was trying to loot I loved. she was a good mother that refused to let her child do that. there was also a picture of a little boy giving water bottles to police as they stood on guard was so touching. I am also glad the six police officers are going to be charged for breaking Freddie Grey's spine.

[/quote I enjoyed that too because it was refreshing to see that some good parenting still exists in the midst of this stupidity.

good parenting sadly nowadays is very rare. the parents don't care to look after kids or know what their doing. I thought the mother did a great thing teaching her son not to follow in the footsteps of people who break the law looting.
