Well I know lately we have all been busy and my focus has been on the World Series but there are other things in the news and obviously scary things.

For starters extremists broke out in Canada. They ran over two Canadian military men, and wounded another. Another radical shot up an official building before a marshal killed the gunman.

It turns out the security guards in this building wear guns but the guns are empty. What kind of security is that?

And if there wasn't an armed "good guy" the "bad guy" would have killed and or wounded lots more people.

It is a lesson to all of us though that security measures need to be better and we can start with armed security guards.

Its the age old thing about guns.

Those who believe guns should be outlawed like to forget that these weapons used for robbery or crimes are usually or at least very often stolen or illegally obtained guns to start with.

Meaning that would still happen if guns were outlawed to the public.
Thankfully there was a licensed gunman on hand to stop him or many more would have been killed or wounded. What about the men who were run over in the street? Cold blooded killings happen without guns too.


What's dumb is like Classic said when security people's guns are unloaded it only becomes a show piece for the uniform and the guard is helpless if there's a problem.

That's the same as putting a sticker on your door that says ADT Alarm or beware of Dog when you do not have a dog or an alarm and hope that bluffs off a potential break in.

come prepared and have armed security and less people are wounded if not killed.
