Woo for aconyms. And bad typing. Anyways, I figured since the Soldat community is dying (or at least desperate enough to believe a stranger as a revivalist) that a new topic will get interests up again. Somehting to talk about anyways. So, give us you're favorite weapons to use, and your favorite strategies.
Why not throw in a good Soldat *moment* for good measure.

Though I'm pretty good with all Soldat weapons, I prefer to use the M79 and Knife combo. I haven't met many others who use the M79 more than other weapons, so I can usually find the aid of suprise on my side with it. Not to mention-- [shadow=gray,left,300]SPLOSIONS![/shadow]
Generally I rush my opponents from the ground, chucka few grenades around them, then take to the air via roll+boost or a back-somersault and attack with the M79 from above. On most occasions I can hit a moving target with the M79 from full range (the farthest the grenade will fire) directly. I've become very accustomed to the arc and velocity of the weapon. Air targets are my favorites because it rains blood... Ah, and the knife is for if I miss, but I use it for /mercy commands more than killing others.

Well.. I'm not sure which weapon I like best, just the ones I don't like. I don't have a favorite. From least liked to favorites: USSOCOM (Yes.. I don't like it's arc. So there.) XM214 Minigun Ak-74 Combat Knife Spas-12 Rambo Bow Arrows Desert Eagles Chainsaw HK MP5 FN Minimi Ruger 77 LAW Steyr AUG M79 Flamer (Buuurn!) Flamed Arrows (I LOVE this weapon. Not because it explodes, but because.. it bounces. =D Wierdest reason ever, I know, but the normal arrow doesn't bounce. Barret M82A1 (Okay, perhaps I do have a favorite. SN!P3D!) Grenades? I like them, but they're kinda out of the list because you -always- have them. Favorite combination- Depends. Close quarters: M79 and Chainsaw. Sniping: Barret and LAW. Taking out campers: M79/Barret and LAW. General combat: Steyr AUG and LAW/Chainsaw. As you can see, I'm not a knife fan.  Favorite moment... when I saw the "beam me up scotty" hack for the first time. |

I tend to choose the Ruger/USSOCOM combo, although I rarely even use the Ruger.
USSOCOM 4 Lyfe.

Haven't played in a long time, but... Ruger with Chiansaw. Strategies? Does shooting the other team count? Because that's typically what I try to do.
Soldat, no moments. In Halo, though, nothing has brought me more satisfaction that killing the most arrogant prick on the server with his own flag. It was one of the best feelings ever when he just quit the server without another word.

One time, when I was playing halo 2 online, I believe it was an 8-player match on Ascension, Juggernaut. I was totally the juggernaut at the beginning of the game and I just grabbed the banshee and got my 25 kills without dying even once. I even dodged a few rockets with my master skillz. |

Deagles and Socom on Realistic Survival.
Deagles can provide a one hit kill, and if you only dent them the socom is great for eating the last sliver of health.

Not to sound noobish or anything, but... What's the 'beam me up scotty' mod? I used to play Halo, until itsuddenly stopped allowing me entrance to the servers... I like the Warthog as a weapon, =P I use the feather. Flying provides unparalleled game-play compared to others such as the flower or mushroom. The mushroom makes gameplay more fun. You have to have an up-to-date graphics card to deal with the colors, though, D: |

It's just a show-offy way of leaving a game The player zips up and down at an extremely high speed, so it looks like they're stretching upwards, then when they're about 5 times their usual height, the server ping-kicks them. xD |
