I am annoyed by the administration and its supporters saying that if minimum wage goes up and health care goes in the republicans will kill the economy.
Please are we all sheep following a leader?
health care has been provided for decades by Independent Health, Blue Cross, Univera and hundreds of medical insurance companies have provided affordable care to individuals and businesses for decades. Now its Obama care or bust? A government mandated plan? Higher taxes and higher minimum wage even for high school kids with no experience or drive of any way. The businesses will not be able to pay for all of this and the 1st things they will do to cover cost is cut payroll. More unemployment the 2nd thing they will do is raise prices.

The left side of the aisle doesn't seem to believe that Obamacare healthcare is not a free source of health coverage. They also seem to think that employees are underpaid because they're being oppressed by their company and not that they've maxed out the experience to payroll budget balance.
Like I've said I have not only hit a ball with a stick for a living I grew up in a family business.
What the others don't realize is that once you pay the trainees $2 more dollars an hour that's about a $3.50 an hour increase times length of shift. That's about $25 more dollars a day per employee to the company and you really can say per employee because you have to extend that raise to everybody not only those at the trainee portion of the market.
If its a company like my Family's place that has about 80 employees that's about $2000 a day and therefore $12,000 a week in payroll increase. Now some businesses could be a little less. Obviously all businesses aren't set up the same way. Not all businesses have 80 workers, and not all of them operate 6 days a week, not all of the minimum wage workers are full time employees, but those are the numbers my brothers would be looking at seeing their payroll increase in a case like this.
So the company would then need to increase its intake by at least $2000 a day in a 6 day work week or pull the plug on about 12 to 20 employees jobs.
The Liberal politicians forget to tell you that.

That's just it more inflation!
The Supreme Court finally made a good decision by a 6 to 2 with 1 abstention. That was to remove Affirmative Action. I believe the instatement of Affirmative Action was the beginning of a weaker America. This may be the beginning of a turn around.
At least now you will have to qualify to get into difficult jobs rather than be the highest scoring minority who may have been 20th out of 100 on a job that is hiring 5.
Kudos to Clarence Thomas, a self made man who never supported Affirmative Action. He is proof that if you're good at what you do, you don't need Affirmative Action.

I am surprised that happened. I was sure Affirmative Action would be in place for all of our lifetime.

Theres always been an attitude among people in charge that think that if you disagree with them its because youre wrong or dont get the point. In truth it can very well be you do get the point and you dont agree.
Our current government has taken that to a new plateau. Other Presidents from Reagan, to Bush, Clinton and Bush and even cabinet leaders would sell their position that you might not share their view but after much consideration of all the alternatives they have come to the conclusion that the approach they wish to take is in the best interest of everyone. This administration tells you you are a failure if you dont see it their way and that we need to pay extra taxes to we can spoon feed more people. And if your food-stamps can be lost along with other programs will go away.
I am not on any services.
I have a job and it doesnt pay tons but it has some perks. I am not wealthy and an unfortunately wasteful with my spending. I am 33 and I live in my parents home and unless I get married I intend to stay that way. I pay them board toward groceries and stuff. But if I didnt live there I would even get a second job before Id try for foodstamps or anything like that.

Yes. The same people who say if you're not for Obama you're a racist, if you're not for Hillary you're not for equal rights for women, it keeps going. Maybe you're just anti liberal.
The same people call Clarence Thomas and Ben Carson an 'Uncle Tom' and they say Sarah Palin is not for the right women's issues.
