Wow, I haven't been rollerskateing since....before you were born.
We had a roller rink in Muskegon that we (my sister and I) used to go to until we moved. The last night I was there I got into a fist fight with some twerp (who I later found out ended up in jail and is still there).
Ahhh! Good times.
The only skating I do these days is either, on my Tony Hawk board (which is also older than you [17 years old] in my warehouse, or on my Heely shoes - which reminds me. I have to get a new set of wheels cuz I got a bearing going out.
Off to Shoes.com I go!!

I'm glad you stopped on. I'm sure your Dad has no idea you checked this board out when you were supposed to be doing homework. ;D And we won't tell him. ;D

Sounds nothing short of awesome. Put me on Rollerblades or Heelys and I'm happy
BTW why is it that the stores that sell Heelys rarely have above size 9, I wear size 11 and see a couple of styles that I like, but can't buy because they don't have my size. I guess I should be grateful to have the one pair I do have. [End Vent]
Put me on a bicycle and I'm happy too, I'm taking wednesday (tomorrow) off and will spend a good part of the day biking with a friend.

Biking is a lot of fun. Especially in the early Spring.
It's nice to see Weasel2htm back. It's been quite a while.

It's good that the Weasel is back.
Yesterday Jason turned 11. That's why I didn't go on line yesterday afternoon the birthday thing took most of my day.
I can't believe he is 11 already. Where does the time go?
Yesterday we had a family-wide celebration at home. And Saturday we're going to the skating rink for his friends and classmates to celebrate his birthday.

I remember Phil posting when Jason was the only kid and they were expecting Jasons brother and now they have a little girl making 3 kids.
I think Jason was in kindergarten when we met Phil on the boards.

After my third shot I think I've found the right ones. There's a definite difference between "FATS" and "MEGA" wheels. Only after my third attempt did Customer Service tell me that my 'Style' was printed on my plugs: FATS style 9-14. I hate internet shopping! I like to go to the store. Look at what I want. Buy it and take it home. It also makes whoever I have to yell at much closer to do so in person if something is wrong with my purchase.

It also makes whoever I have to yell at much closer to do so in person if something is wrong with my purchase. 99% of my looking has been on the internet, still almost bloody impossible to find, either they don't make a lot in adult sizes or those sizes are super popular and sell out fast. When I find a style I like thye don't have my size, when I find my size I don't think the style is "me" though I find it funny that they make Heely boots, definatly not me, but oh well, it would be SO much easier if you could by them from Heelys.com, they even if they didn't have your size, when they made more, you getting them would be almost guaranteed. BTW that little plastic think on the chain that comes with the Heelys should say the type of wheel and bearing your shoes use.

I wonder why they don't have Heelys for adults, it might have something do with the fact they're for 5 year olds, but that's probably not it...

Why would there be an age limit to Heelys?
