Going home for a few days

Thunderbird called me about an hour ago.

My uncle passed away. My dad's younger brother. Its a bit harder for my father since this uncle is his younger brother. Not by a lot but the uncle died today at 75 after some health trouble. My father is 77 and seems to be taking this a bit hard.

I was going to go alone but my brothers think my dad would really like to see the grandchildren during this, so I'm going to get a flight for tomorrow and Blastgirl and the boys and I are going.

Sorry about your uncle. Its been 3 years since we lost my father and its still tough.

Came home to a blizzard. Blastgirl and the boys never saw this much snow before.

But the wake is today and tomorrow funeral Friday morning we will fly home over the weekend.

Funeral was today.

My father was pleased to spend the rest of the day with my boys and show them around here in the winter time they don't see snow much. Although my brother known here as Thunderbird took them skiing about a year ago.

But it was good for my dad to see his grandchildren since he had to say a final goodbye to his brother.
