When I saw this up for sale on eBay, I didn't hesitate to get my hands on it. They've made replicas before, but frankly they've been crap. I'm not sure who made it, but they did a fantastic job. Here's a picture of Link with the sword for reference to accuracy. And here's mine. I've already polished the blade. I'll most likely be repainting the yellow colored designs on the hilt later, since they're the wrong color and I think they're cheesy looking. I'm a sword collector, so the Master Sword has always been one of my most sought after pieces. I hope this doesn't make me a nerd.

A nerd? Nah. When you're 6'6" and playing college football at least nobody's going to tell you that.
It's great that you've been able to find a good version that seemed to be so hard come by.

I have a couple different types of swords and other things. I have a few medieval ones, like the sword above. I have quite a number of japanese style katanas, which look like this: I also have one Roman gladiator short sword, which looks like this: I'll have a nice big wall to put all this stuff up on once I get my own place.

I see your "sword" was made in china There was one guy that got one custom forged; no mass-produced crap (not that yours isn't good; it's the best mass-produced one I've seen) How much did you pay for it?

I've seen the custom forged one. It's a great sword, although the $3,000 he paid to get it done is out of the question. Frankly, it doesn't matter to me whether it's made in China or not. All of the replicas of this sword are, but this one is by far the best. It's hard to find anything like this that isn't made in China. But to me, it's all for show anyway. Looking good. I paid $50 for the sword, but the shipping was an extra $20 so it rounded it all out to $70. Not too bad, considering the "new" models of this sword are $80 for the sword alone. Late night edit: I painted the designs. Looks much, much better than before. It's now a deep gold instead of that cheesy bright yellow.

Awesome! Good find.
I never knew you were into sword collecting.
I have no good pictures of mine but I've got a few on my youtube thing.
The 'Sword of Darkness' is my flagship. My katana needs to be re-wrapped but, it's still 'trunk splitting' sharp.

As far as fencing goes, the only fencing lessons I had were during gym class in high school. They weren't anything special and lasted a couple days, so it's hard to judge on how good I was. I do want to learn more though. Awesome! Good find. I never knew you were into sword collecting. I have no good pictures of mine but I've got a few on my youtube thing. Kit Rae collection right? I gotta hang that one as soon as find the time and the space.

Yup, Kit Rae.
I have the original stainless one, not the 10th An. bronze version. You have the SS one, too?
I'd like to get more of the Ken Gebben stuff but, time and money.
....actually, just money. I got time to online shop.
