It indicates age, but I am pleased. We just got back a few minutes ago and Jason has his license. He passed his road test with flying colors.
I have kept my father's car the Lincoln and Jason will get to use that most of the time but I had agreed that he could drive my truck to school the 1st few days of the school year as he begins his junior year of high school.
Time closes in though. There's a waiting period now. Jason couldn't take his test til now. They say 5 month minimum he got his permit in April but the looser interpretation says that this is the 5th month and they include April when it would technically be 4 full months. Some jobs do that too, when you have a year and a day on the job they say you're starting your 2nd year and have 2 years seniority. *my work doesn't see it like that*
But anyway Jason got his license this afternoon.

That is newsworthy. Congratulations Jason. And Phil make sure you do what a dad is supposed to. Make him do your shopping and running while the excitement is still hot.
This is good news.

Thanks I plan to keep it mostly between the ditches.
Now everytime we run out of something or whatever my brother says Jason and me can go to the store. My mom wote out checks to be mailed and my brother wants us to go mail them instead of next time we go out somewhere he wants us go make a special trip.

This is deja vu. Phil is like yahoo because now Jason can do some errands. When Phil got his license I was about 7. And he had to take my sister and me to things on Saturdays. Then Phil had just gotten married and was out of the house when I got mine my dad was saying "more sleep" for him was what that meant.
Its a cycle I suppose.
