my sister was released from the hospital last week and has gone back again. the first time she fell in the bathroom because she was really weak. this time she was up through the night with bad stomach pains and had to be taken in at 6am. I went to visit her today and they said she has a infection in her stomach. she might of picked it up in the hospital or here. they have her on a liquid diet and doing more tests to see what's going on. she has not been eating much because she hates the food. she got jello and soup chicken broth. she's been crying to go home. hoping this isn't serious and she can come home soon. she's been having a lot of problems lately.

Sometimes hospitals keeping people too long can make things worse. Keep us updated.

Yes please keep us updated. I am sorry to hear she is ill. She's only in her 20s yet, right?

she came home july 4th and yes she is 20. she had a stomach infection from her blood transfusion. she is doing better just on a lot of pills because of her anemia. I was thinking it was going to be something worse but it wasn't.

20? She's so young to have such problems. Obviously that can happen at any age but you usually shouldn't have to be as careful when you're young.
I phrased that badly please forgive me. What I mean is young adults are at their most carefree point in life. I am not suggesting that good physical maintenance isn't good at any age, but if you don't eat right or sleep right or have habits that aren't the best you are more likely to get away with that if you change habits for the better around age 30. That was all I meant.
