I'm thinking about buying one of these bad boys on E-Bay. I've been looking at the games and they seem pretty decent, but I need to think about it more. Anyone that owns one or has first hand knowledge, could you answer some questions for meh?
Will I regret it in a day? Worth the money? What games should I buy? Any place besides E-Bay that I could buy from?

E bay is a pretty good way to buy things. You can usually find things rather cheap and they're usually still in good condition. Obviously you have to be aware that anything that isn't in working order is kind of a you're stuck with it situation. But Super Nintendo has a great reputation and it's relatively inexpensive as game systems go.
If you're thinking warranty I'd probably avoid E Bay but if you're thinking price E bay is a great way to go.

Will I regret it in a day? Worth the money? What games should I buy? Any place besides E-Bay that I could buy from? To answer your questions... 1. No, you won't. 2. Depends on what they're selling for. But it's worth it. 3. Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past, Super Mario World, Mario Kart, Super Battleship, Final Fantasy III... there's a bunch more but it's late and I can't remember now. 4. No other places I know of. Ebay is your best bet. It was the first game system I ever owned. I used to play until my thumbs were numb. You'll like it; classic gaming at its best.

Emulation FTW. *pounded* Anyway, I found a Super Mario ROM I lately have been tricking out with all sort of awesome stuff. However, the online ROM level editor I have been using has recently claimed a break from active operation. If only I could upload the ROM with no negative effects, like the whateverthegroupsnameis demanding its removal...

Why don't you upload it, and then move it to another hosting site when they demand its takedown? Then move it again next time they find it, etc.
Also, if you put it on Bittorrent, there's nothing that can take it down.

Can't upload...the new Trend Micro software that's SUPPOSEDLY nice and shiny has been dirt so far. Blocked every upload site I've been to, and worse if I modify the filter, the modifications are zapped to the other computers on the same network.

Oh, man!
I was/and still am in love with Zelda: Link to the Past. I was also a Mario Kart savant.
What's funny is, a couple of days ago I was Ebaying for exactly the same stuff.
Unfortunately, a few years ago I gave my SNES to my nephew and niece. Being younger children at the time, the SNES didn't live very long.
I'm going to get a new SNES, dang it! .....but, I guess I'd have to get a TV, first.
Meh! I haven't even thought about getting a TV in awhile.
How are these new 'Plasma' Tvs holding up? Maybe I'll get one of those.
