Hey there. This is the old Possum Jenkins- but please just call me 'Kevin.' I completely forgot about this board for the past two years and wanted to see how y'all have been.
A little recap of me: I graduated HS, and now I am attending UC Santa Barbara. It is the best decision that I have ever made; life is good. I am no longer an angsty, bratty, high school student and loving it.

Welcome back. What make you change your mind about Obama.
I'm not trying to be a pest, its just when people have their support behind someone they rarely change their mind four years later. Obviously it does happen sometimes as some Presidents or other elected people do not receive a second term. I am just wondering if you want to tell us what about Obama let you down?
If you want to discuss that... if you'd rather not that's ok too.
I am glad you're enjoying college. I remember you being a Giants fan. They have a World Series since we last talked.

Hello again. Since you last posted my 2nd son Eric has joined Lewasite so has my brother Alan. Neither posts very often. Eric is only 9 years old. But he does come on once in a while. Alan very rarely but he is registered. Otherwise there's been day to day things that have happened no earth shattering news. A little over 2 years ago my father died. He was definitely the patriarch of our family and that's shaken us as a family somewhat.
Not to the point where we can't get on with life but it changed us all considerably.
I am glad you're enjoying college I hope it brings you to new heights. I took only 1 year of college and in May of 1990 I got in a summer job with CSX and was offered fulltime employment in the fall and decided to take it rather than go back to school. In October of 1990 CSX assigned me to Penn-York Division and I've been there ever since.
I sometimes wonder if things would be different had I gotten a degree but I am almost 42 now and this job has worked for me this long. better than half my life now. So things overall are good.

Classic: My politics have not drastically changed, simply my attitude. I used to just always want to play devil's advocate and try to get a rise out of people (I think you internet folks call it trolling) but I'm over that now. I should mention though that I was disapointed when Rand stepped back a little bit with his position on drone strikes.
To the rest of you- nice to see some familiar faces again!
