today I watched a video I found pretty disturbing. it was of Lil poopy on youtube. some 9 year old rapping about coke I am hoping it was the soda. This is terrible a kid only 9 to destroy him this way.
I think he will end up a problem person for the rest of his life. Obviously his family and their agents who are making money this way say "Its just an act."
Its not though, it messes with the mind of a kid and I think he will never be quite right. He will have bouts with the law and possibly even have major drug issues. Time will tell but I think that will happen.
The same group that calls that expressive art says the same thing about porn. Doesn't make it so though.
This is terrible exploitation of a young child.
I am sure Phil or anyone else who might have kids from this board would agree on something. Eric from the board is Phil's son and Jason's brother he is 9 and this November that's how old my older son Jacob will be.
My point is that at these ages they need constant attention and constant guiding and reminding. They also trust you as the adults closest to them and would quote you and actually feel as you do because they value your outlook you are their provider. So if you convey a rebellious image disobey the law take drugs, steal, vandalize and rob and whatever his videos are saying conveys a terrible message at a very formative and impressionable age.
How about his handle? "Lil Poopy" In other words they're calling him a little Sh it. That alone is degrading.
Their answer would be that its done to be catchy. Justin Bieber, Britany Spears, Hunter Hayes, and countless others got famous as kids by just being talented nobody labeled them something degrading.
This whole thing is the gimmick of having a little kid sing and do things that if my son almost his age even attempted to do I would slap him for it and that's what they're using to be intriguing.

very well said classicblast. in the video in some parts it also looked like the adults were drinking while the kid was around. if you look at carrie underwoods videos she became famous not only for her voice but she didn't use sex to sell her videos. I don't know how the parents allow a child to do things like that or how a woman is okay with a child slapping her butt for the world to see. I think it does boarder on the line of porn. they tried to argue that was acting which many people do in the movies but I disagree. that child is going to learn how to treat women like a sex object at a early age. he may also think it's okay for him to put his hands on a woman. he's heading down a bad path and the parents are promoting this behavior for money.

Yes very well said. I am going to sit down right now and make a video comment about this and also the 1 you asked me to comment on about the pope and I'll upload them while I head for work. They should post up tonight.
That's appalling that anything like that goes on.

i look forward to watching your videos. I am having getting on youtube for some reason so i'll see if I can get on tonight. I consider what that kid did groping which his parents should never allow especially for the whole world to see. I would like to know what the school thinks if they see that video.

i watched some more videos to see if any were at least good. the kid was in this one video with a bunch of cursing going on and talking about weed. it was also confirmed in the video I posted on here the adults were drinking around the kid. now I think that it's safe to say you need a license to get a car well adults need parenting classes before having kids. I hope they don't drink around him while the kid is in the house. I would be afraid he would take someone's drink then be rushed to the hospital for alcohol poisioning.

Exactly. Its just to be a 'shock jock' and gain attention with a bad gimmick. Like Classic said this kid is going to have trouble with the law and be a drug user and believe that that's the right way to be.
If my 9 year old emulated any of this I'd slap him silly.

This is a very impressionable age for kids and to mascaraed 1 around this way is purely repulsive. And its the adults that are responsible. The kid only does what he is told to do.

i agree and I also think if the kid has talent like the father says then you shouldn't need to curse in your video or make a 9 year old slap some lady's butt. it's not okay for little kids to be exposed to that crap. I would aslo be afraid of shootings. I have herd horror stories rappers get in a feud with another rapper and then a shooting happens. if I had a kid there's no way I would allow that crap to happen around me. look at will smith he has all that fame and I have never herd him curse in his videos. I know people go for the shock value but that father is putting his kid at risk. there are a lot of sick people or stalkers out there who might want to do that kid or father harm. they really need to think about what their doing.

Very true. If you're good you don't need an elaborate gimmick. Maybe if I was more of a douche bag I'd have had a more successful baseball career. It does make me wonder.
Only kidding. But if this kid is really good they'd discover him anyway. There's tons of singers discovered as kids.
