It's been 2 years since I last posted.
I remember being told, by someone that found me annoying, to come back once I met the age required to register with the forum. That age is 13, so I must have been 12 or less. For some reason, amongst the time of change, I deleted and recreated a new account, so I probably originally registered in 2005.
I am 18 now. An adult. A lot of time has passed. This was the first forum I participated in regularly, so this place certainly has memories. A google of 'tractakid' will still bring up Phil discussing my thought that he should get a haircut. haha. I can't speak too much, this is me now:
The most interesting thing that has happened to me within the last year has been my involvement in 'tube challenging', running around the London Underground railway system as quickly as possible. During the summer (the day after the Olympic closing ceremony), I managed to get to all 270 stations in 18 hours, 10 minutes, which is a good hour and 40 minutes behind the world record. I have also had a go at some shorter challenges, like the Zone 1 set of stations, and using all the lines as quickly as possible. I find it fun and the exercise I get from running within or in between stations is good for me.
I am still at school, I am doing an extra year as the first year of 6th form did not go too well.
Outside of school I volunteer at a youth group for people with additional needs. I do this twice a week, and I can see myself going into some sort of work on a similar theme once I finish school. I don't want to go to university.
The main places I am active online now a days are on the tube challenge forum, and I am also on xbox-gaming website trueachievements.com, so if any of you guys play xbox live feel free to send me a friend request (gamertag tractakid) on the website or on Xbox Live itself. Just let me know who it is in a message, if otherwise unclear.
I hope you guys are all doing OK. Let me know in the responses, briefly fill me in on how you have been I probably won't post regularly, but I shall keep an eye out for responses to this thread, responding a few times before disappearing back underground or on my xbox
