I am a Buffalo Bills fan and I am looking forward to football.
My 2nd favorite team is the Detroit Lions.

Well it looks like the National Football League has come to Terms with a referees. The stand in official stalker a lot of flack for Monday nights game. I saw the replay. of course I didn't see it live as it happens during my work shift. What I wonder is were the sub refs scapegoats in this? Can we be sure the same call wouldn't have been made with the other referees.

That's a problem with referees and umpires no matter what you call when its a judgment you have to make a decision at the moment and hope you're right. That's not necessarily of how long you've been doing the job. There's been plenty of debated calls no matter how experienced the officials were.
I've been the player when I was sure they were wrong and it impacted the play totally and even the game significantly. But you have to play according to what is called and go from there. That's all you can do.

I am a Buffalo Bills fan. We are about an hour and change from Buffalo. My dad was a Bills fan and therefore that's the team I grew up watching along with the Steelers a bit during the Terry Bradshaw years.
Bills owner Ralph Wilson died today at the age of 95. For 25 years that I know of they had been talking about the fait of the franchise should Ralph pass away. Now we shall find out but Ralph lived to a ripe old age and was alert all along.
Also on Thursday hall of fame Quarterback Jim Kelly will be having surgery to remove cancer from his throat, This is a difficult week for the Bills community,

Thunderbird texted me that Wilson had died.
But he lived a very long time He was one of the original owners I think even the last of them. Teams are sold all the time as his family will probably sell but a NFL franchise is probably worth nearly half a billion dollars so investors are hard come by.
Most of the time teams are sold in sports but remain in place even if the new owners live in a different city and state.

I like football and that story has been in the news and the question of if that team will stay put since the retired Quearterback Jim Kelly was thought to be a leader of a buying organization and it looks like his cancer could be terminal. So he is out of the running for now.
What though is even if an out of area investor buys a team they rarely move the team for lots of reasons. Its a heavy fine to move a team before contracts expire and they have to establish a new clientele in order to survive long term.

I hope they don't move unless they come to Bradford. We go to games about 2 a year and its fun.
