Okay so Todd Aiken maybe rather stupid statement I'm his part. I realize what he meant was that life is the most important thing to protect. And a baby no matter how conceived is a human baby. He should have said it that way.nce my mother had 3 miscarriages, I can accept that And I also value life that strongly. What he said in the way he said it was completely wrong. Personally I have never known anyone named Tod who was too smart. That was just a little joke oe. But he Messed up . But I don't necessarily think you should resign for that. If the voters think so they have a chance to get rid of him now.
Will remember that Missouri Elected a corpse as governor, Mel Carnahan

Carnahan died in a plane crash, And they still elected him automatically making his wife governor. Sounds like permit of law but its Still in place.
The 1 who I think should ses representativefrom Kansas Who went swimming naked in the river of Galilee

He 'Forgot to put on a swim suit! That is totally unacceptable especially when you go overseas to represent this country. IF that had been the Mississippi river it would still be stupid and distasteful, but this is a thousand times worse.

I am staunch pro life too but comments like that might hurt his party. He still leads in the polls I guess that means he is that preferred over his opponent.
I remember that Carnahan thing too.
The Sea of Galilee was Kevin Yoder of Kansas. I cant imagine what he was thinking. So many countries in that segment of the world have hated Americans for centuries and this guy gives them a legitimate reason to understand why.
Like Phil said if you do that at home (in this country) that would be stupid enough but to show that image of America who you are elected to represent is just appalling.
If I was sent to represent this country I woudlnt even fart in the joint meetings its just not the time or place.

I heard about Todd Aiken, he is still ahead in the polls though.
I did not hear about the guy who went skinny dipping in Galilee. What is the world coming to?
I remember the Carnahan plane crash that happened the same year as the Bush vs Gore election. And around the time Blastgirl and I were getting married. We got married in late 2000.

It seems to have turned around Aiken is now trailing on today's poll. Romney called for Aiken to resign. I don't know if Romney really cares if Aiken resigned but it probably hurts him less in the national voting if he shows disapproval of Aiken right now.
Its less likely to hurt him.
I never thought that was true that the whole party could get damaged voting wise on account of what someone said. I guess if someone says something dumb and you support them it could.
I do however believe that a baby no matter how conceived is a baby. And a sicko doesn't necessarily reproduce another sicko and everyone should get a chance at life.
As for how he said it, he should be beaten with a stick.

Did he really day he "forgot to put on a swim suit?" I think that guy needs to be punched in the face as many times as he can in ten minutes.

Once you're elected to a job like that you are no longer able to do whatever you want. You are committed to represent your elective district. ESPECIALLY when you go over seas to represent us.

BTW, Is what Aiken said, although a stupid remark, is it any stupider than the things Joe Biden says everyday?
