I dont think he will mind that I posted this. I am sure he will tell you anyway but a friend of his since high school died.
A heart attack at 41 years old
When my grandpa died in January of 2011 it was unexpected but he was 77 years old. Not unheard of for a heart attack. Not 41.
I am sure he will talk about it. This guy was known as Dutch, that was a nickname of course but something about a school incident he got known as Dutch and that name stuck.
R I P Dutch March 7, 1971 - July 3, 2012.

A classmate of Thunderbird's died about a year ago, I think he was 41 also. I don't know how that happens. I didn't know that guy well but I had met him. Thunderbird is 5 years older than me and I have not lived in my home city for about 15 years.
It appears from Jason's post that this guy was a good friend of Phil's, so obviously I am sorry to read of this death. I hope the memories if this friend will help during these times.

My deepest sympathy to Phil. My Mom was 46 years old when she died.Dying young or knowing someone who has passed young is tough.

it's horrible to lose someone suddenly. my friend lost her mom to breast cancer and I knew her for about 9 years. she went through a lot of pain everyday but always had a sense of humor. I just saw her the week before and couldn't believe she was gone. her father took it hard as did she. always cherish the people in your life because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

There's nothing that can be said that all of you haven't said already and thank you. Aaron Mueller was my friend's name.
He got the nickname Dutch in 7th grade. What happened is the student rec center was in need of painting and Aaron was a good artistic kid so he drew a color plan and they accepted it so they let him paint it to that color plan.
After school for weeks he painted a little here and there till it was finished. The paint used was the brand Dutch Boy and the paint came with a smock that had the Dutch Boy logo on it. He became known as Dutch Boy shortened to Dutch.
Even his embroidered school coats said Dutch hardly was he ever called Aaron again.
But a heart attack at 41.
We had some discussion here at the house that some responsibility belongs to Jason and what has to happen if anything happens to me.

One never knows. Sometimes its just that person's time. Our batting instructor died suddenly in 2001. He was only about 50, and showed no signs of ill health. That makes it harder to take for everyone else, but unfortunately, it does happen.

I know this topic is several months old, but I had to say something since I have not been on the board for quite some time. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Phil.
Back in August a girl I used to work with lost her mom suddenly after a brief illness, and she was only 49. Also last year a guy who was my age, but graduated a year after me, died in a motorcycle accident.
