i was at work and about 8:30pm the lead in footwear told me he thought he was going crazy but he herd kittens crying and thought it was kids. then I herd the kittens crying getting louder and I said omg. turns out someone dumped off three kittens in a basket by the side of kmart at our fire escape door. I don't know how anyone can be that cruel. if nobody herd them they could of been dead the next day. my manager was mad that anyone would do that because he didn't have the time to deal with it. I don't know what happened to the kittens but I hope they were not sent to a shelter. I don't want to see them destroyed. I wish I could of had one but I have a dog who does not like cats.

I am sure if your manager knows about the kittens that they were taken to an animal car facility. Its just cruel to just leave them. Whoever left them, if that person couldn't keep them they could have just as easily taken them to a place where animals are cared for and a home is found for them.
I know when you have other pets it might not have been possible to keep one of them. But the kittens deserve better than to be dropped off. People have done that with puppies and kittens forever.

I'd love a Kitty Cat. We have a Beagle like yours I don't know how they'd get along. It's different from one dog and cat to another they don't all react the same way. You never know unless we introduce a Cat to our dog. I never had a pet growing up. I don't know why we just never had one. I love the Beagle we have now though. Classic had one as a kid and he got us Pirate about seven years ago.

When I owned my boarding kennel for cats people would try to leave them with me. It was so hard on me. I love cats and got my two now at a local shelter. But I was running a business where I took care of cats for money and to find home for strays was impossible. That is one of the nice things about not running a kennel anymore. I don't have to hear the lame excuses people gave for not wanting there cats.My cat's are my kids. Would you put your kids in a box and leave them alone?

I can't believe the way some people just neglect animals.

My daughter would have loved a kitty for her birthday.
At least they will be given a home.

exactly they should treat their animals like their kids because I think it is the same thing. I could never drop my dog off somewhere walk away listening to her crying out. I know she is a lot of trouble but I still love her. blastgirl I love beagle's to. I was told I have to do research on the kind of animal I want but I knew I was obsessed with beagle's. I got princess when she was like 5 weeks I think. she was really small. I let her sleep in my bed when she was a puppy. she would put her face on my neck and sleep on me. and Phil I think it's great your daughter loves kittens and I hope she had a very happy birthday. I want a kitten to because I don't have to take them outside to the bathroom all day like my dog. I love listening to the sound of a kitten purring. my one friend said if she had the money she would pay for a no kill shelter. if animals don't find a home I saw a picture of hundred's of dead cats laying there together. it was so sad. people take them there because they don't have the time. they should of thought of that when they bought the animal. a no kill shelter my friend wanted so people can bring over strays no questions asked and the animals can still walk around outside and have fun until adoption. if I had looked at those kittens I don't think I would have it in me to hand them over so I hope they found homes.

All pets are trouble. They don't know any different and can only be trained so much. They don't reason if they chew on a shoe they're going to destroy it. They wonder what this is and they're having fun chewing it and that's that.
All animals are like that.
My children like Animals. With Jason it's always been birds. Eric likes hamsters and rabbits the most. but he likes all animals. My daughter likes kittens and ducks especially.

my sister gave her two bunnies to a lady to give to her daughter. I miss little snuggles and cuddles. bunnies are adorable.

Do bunnies make good pets? The reason I ask is I have always had the impression that they're kind of scared and don't like being handled and petted. But I guess they could warm up to people when they're used to being petted.
Obviously you know the answer. Do bunnies warm up to people?
