That's where most people wouldn't understand. I am not really saying I do either, but most people see you selling houses for 6 figures not knowing how much overhead there is in such a thing. Materiel, manpower, equipment, Classic has said you have over 75 trucks in your fleet, I can imagine trailers, bulldozers, pay-loaders, backhoes and so many other things then of course taxes. I admire businesses able to manage during these times.

The overhead in a business like that is horrendous. That might even be a quarterly tax I'd have to confirm with Thunderbird but father always argued that if businesses like his, which is now run by Thunderbird, are over taxed there's several jobs eliminated that way. My father started that business in 1964 he was 27 or 28 at the time. It wasn't the size of business it is now but within 10 years he was renowned.

Its remarkable that a 2nd generation business continues to grow when a company was started 48 years ago. It just shows how capable your family is at providing a good service and managing all aspects of a business. thunderbird do you still have that 1973 Ford Dumptruck? It was the oldest truck in the fleet last time we discussed it.

The question was for Thunderbird but yes he still has it. It barely gets used but its still in service.

That's cool. I assume its unusual to have 70s trucks still in the fleet.

That's the only one. The next oldest truck is a 88 Van and there's several 90s trucks still in service that's the only truck that goes back to 73.

I usually think of April 15 as a good thing because its tax return time. Ive never had to pay big amounts I guess its not as good for businesses and people who are hit with tax paying burdens.
