anna the lazy girl I was having problems with quit with no 2 weeks notice for another job. I was beyond happy. dana the girl I used to work with in softlines doesn't like me after she went on her 15 minute break and when they paged her for layaway I told them she would be back in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later the manager had to go looking for her because she was in the car outside with her boyfriend. she got screamed at and her excuse was she lost track of time. she told people I was the reason she got yelled at because I lied. turns out she was working last week then updated her facebook status she was going on her dinner across the street to the bar to do shots. so she drank then went back to work and someone told on her and she quit. after all the stunts she pulled it's always somebody's fault except her. im so glad their gone now and I don't have to deal with them

YOU LIED? Because a worker was on a fifteen minute break and you said she would be back in fifteen minutes and she was still gone a half hour later, YOU LIED? Obviously she was gone longer than a half hour because if you said she was on a fifteen minute break unless she just left a moment before that she was at least a few minutes into her break. You gave her the longest allotted time to get back by saying she would be back in fifteen minutes. The store gave her a break by waiting 30 to look for her and she wasn't even in the store but outside in a car. And she lost track of time even if that was the truth, and I am not saying it was, its terribly irresponsible to lose track of time when you're on the job being paid to be back at a certain time. She's mad you didn't cover for her and that's totally wrong. Sometimes people like that have people punch in for them too when they're out. That probably didn't happen or she would have gotten caught the way that story unfolds I have to presume they checked on that when they found her. Had she been on the job when she was supposed to be there would have been no trouble at all. Then someone told on her about drinking shots? Why do drunk people, or people who have been drinking think nobody notices they've been drinking and get mad when they get caught?

When in Produce at Wal Mart I ratted out just about everyone for sexual misconduct and I am dang proud I did. My department manager was demoted and some of my co workers were coached. I have a few that won't talk to me but the majority of my store associates are my friends. ;D

I think when something is bad enough that needs to be brought out.
Its not fair to Angel607 to have to be at her department when the other person working that station is out in a car and probably on the clock. Beangirl shouldn't have to deal with others who are conducting sexual misconduct. I get annoyed once in a while if someone who is being paid just as I am is messing around or trying to do as little as possible. Sometimes the explanation sadly is 'Its better when something or other doesn't do the finishing work.'
That doesn't really sit well but that's the way it is.
I got in trouble once on a write up and sent home about 4 years ago I didn't look at something and signed it.
What had happened is a guy on our crew missed 2 or 3 days in succession and Brian and I assumed he had called in. It turned out someone punched in for him those days. Our project took 5 days and that guy was not there for at least 2 if not 3 of those days. Both Brian and I signed off on the report not really reading whether it said who was there or not.
We got called in lectured asked if that other guy was there we both said what days he was and wasn't there and then got told he was punched in and out for all 5. We did not thoroughly check the report that said he was here all of the days before signing it.
Believe me, neither Brian or I are the kids of guys who would cover for someone in something like that.
But we got sent home for that day and written up. But no further action was taken against us.
We didn't get written up for getting in the fight with those twins since they are paroled scum and everybody felt the same about those 2 as we do the matter was dropped without us even being written up.
I am glad K mart is taking action against those 2 Angel mentions.
With all the people unemployed right now that would be willing to work, I can't imagine stores and businesses having to put up with do nothing people for very long.

I think stupid people should be zapped with a cattle prod whenever they mess up.

classic ever since that day I hated the girl. when she worked on the floor with me she would never help do returns. she was in the fitting room talking to nicole about crap that could of been discussed after work. she also has a little boy. my co-worker once said years ago she gave dana 10 bucks to go to the bar to have drinks. pat my co-worker said I don't know why she is going to the bar after work when she has a little boy to go home to. dana used to work at the service desk and when she was there all she did was talk to employee's about her ex and how guys wanted her. she thinks she is all that but she's not.
and phil I remember that video where you got sent home. I hate it when people have to mess things up for those that work.
beangirl im glad you told on them. people know better then to do things like that. they should never get away with that.
and kimm I think that would be a great work rule and also a rule in life. I would love to zap the stupid people. maybe it would knock some sense into them.

Angel, this girl sounds like your typical "Occupy" resident; "I don't want to work for my money! You make plenty! You should give it to me because you have more than you need!"
I hope she gets mugged in the street.

I do think that most of the time if you think someone is a jerk or a burden most people feel the same way.
