Its almost a suckers bet to try to answer some questions that cant be answered in a few words. Its also a bit of a suckers bet to try to explain things that have been debated for centuries and will continue to be debated long after all of us are gone.
Inconsistent? I guess anybody who ever dose something different one time than another time is inconsistent. That means anybody who has ever given amnesty to someone who has bent a rule or cut anybody slack at all.
It happens in the world when people are not made to have the full extent of the law enforced to them, its even happened in the bible God spared some people for the sake of others. Thats why one never knows.
Evolution is not necessarily a rival of creation though. You can believe in creation and still believe that some things have also evolved. The earths geology is a common example. Mules are the mating of a horse and a donkey mules do not reproduce on their own. Theres a natural animal example for evolution.

To pull this back on topic a bit more in terms of general campaign news, it seems that the results of Super Tuesday are mixed in nature so far. Romney will probably come out on top, but from what I can tell in Ohio it was only because he outspent Santorum 12-1. And he still didn't grab 50% of the vote in that state.
People just aren't gravitating to Romney because he isn't attracting the conservative vote. They're still sticking with Santorum or Gingrich with Newt winning his home state of Georgia as expected.
A lot of the pundits are saying the Republican Party is fractured and fragmented right now and its creating wounds that won't heal, but I don't think that will be the case once we pick a nominee. Whoever it will be will more than likely have the entire party, along with many Independents and what are called "Reagan Democrats", unite behind him. It's fragmented right now because each candidate has their own credentials that certain voters within the party like more than the other. Such as Romney's moderate views and private sector experience, Santorum's conservatism and stance on social issues, and Gingrich's track record and experience in government.
Whoever it winds up being will have my vote over Obama. Any one of them, even Romney, is better.

I don't think that would be the case.
Anytime the party that is not the incumbent in any election year goes through its candidates. Four years ago Hillary Clinton was the runner up against Obama but she got the job as secretary of State. It happens regularly. There have been times the runner up was the vice presidential candidate. Reagan/Bush. I don't see the nomination campaign tearing the party up. There's not hard hostility here.

There's the necessary jostling for first place going on at the moment but yes there won't be the kind of hostility going on once a nominee is selected. I can guarantee that once the second and third place candidates drop out, they'll endorse the frontrunner and give a glowing interview about how they are the only one that can beat Obama, carry conservative values, etc. Provided they aren't selected for running mate.

No doubt you have to sell your message some but they say elections cant be bought.. It might be true in the simple sense but the more you are able to spend the easier it is. Romney had plenty of leftover campaign money from 2008 and kept his offices open in key battleground states making it so he was in every county's ballot and his campaign could not only start sooner but work more aggressively after.
They have discussed a possible maximum budget for election campaigns but so far that hasn't happened so whoever has the most money can advertize the hardest. That doesn't guarantee victory but it helps.

I have to say Santorum was on C Span's questions and answers last night and he was very good.

Romney is still in the lead but Gingrich and Santorum are still holding on here. IT could be a very good primary all the way through.

It seems that they are all doing the same thing though in a way of doing everything they can to make Obama opponents look like ignorant war mongers. Theyre showing rural Mississippi, hand picking ignorant answers and making it apply to their position.
Perhaps everybody does that but one man in the clip says "we do not compromise our faith even if it means going hungry." That can be taken literally or as a way of saying that principles are that important. Sometimes we might say "Id rather die that have this happen" you dont literally mean youd rather die its an expression that you dont want that to happen.

Those kinds of blogs are always quoting others out of context. There are also cults who call upon evil supernatural forces too. Witchcraft has been practiced by some who have developed or believed to have developed some powers.
Even psychics have been felt to have special senses. I have no doubt that some people have a special 6th sense in a way. When that Kenny Kingston *sp* was on tv with a 24 hour psychic hotline that was a bit silly to me. To hire people to be reachable by phone 24/7 with the psychic ability makes me wonder if this is such a rare gift how can Kingston find so many to be on call all hours of the day?
Like I said I don't doubt some people have that ability but he can't train them, I mean you can't learn to be a psychic.

Santorum suspended his campaign yesterday. I have a feeling that it has something to do with his sick daughter, who spent the weekend in the hospital. I think she was having some sort of emergency surgery.
It's a surprise that he's pulled out this early. Everyone on my side of the political field was pretty much sure he was at least going to stick it out until after the Pennsylvania primary, his home state. Depending on how he did in the voting in that state was probably going to determine whether he stuck around or not. The fact that he pulled out now suggests that his daughter's health probably made him stop and think about what was more important. Campaigning or family. Seems his choosing family. Bless him for that.
People may not like him for his views and conservative ideas, but at least he knows what is important. He ran a good campaign. I'll make a new topic about Romney now since he's essentially going to be the nominee at this point.

I think those of us who still have traditional values are being sited as "out dated" but I don't think we're really a dying breed. I do think too many people who share our values are not expressive of them enough for concern of making waves or offending what isn't the majority but more often takes a stand.
