That's the old adage but, my mom just quashed that.

My dogs were all busy body around her when she walked in the door.

I repeatedly told them to lay down and leave her alone.
They ignored me - because they were too hyper.

Mom says, "Go lay down".

......and they did.

I feel about this *gestures* small right now.

I have another BIG story about this weekend but, I'll tell you all later.

It has to do with me almost ending up in the hospital, or jail.
But, I lived and did the right thing....with backup.

I don't know why this makes me think of that but I built big cages for my son's birds. He has a canary named Spike and a budgie named Greenboy.

I was fixing a perch on the cage and the startled the budgie and he flew right into me and punctured the side of my nose.

My wife thought it was hilarious that I got a bloody nose from a 3 oz budgie. 1 of the sweetest creatures too.

Remember the Chicken Hawk from the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons?
He could pull a full grown rooster that's about 200 times his size.
