i have been following this story through aol and it's sad when you look at baby Lisa's face. so far from what I have read it looks like the mother had something to do with the child's disappearence. she failed the lie detector test. the child went missing and 3 cell phones were stolen. it makes me wonder if the mother was in contact with the kidnapper through the cell phones. I hope it's not true and they find the baby. but it's a little strange.

I don't like what I have heard so far about this either.

It just becomes more appalling everyday what parents are doing with their kids and raising them properly isn't it. I know that by no means is my parenting mistake free. What happens now is over the top. Kids are raised by parents on drugs, even sold. In these days of economic ruin women are having babies and selling them like puppies.
Some sicko like a real live Frankenstein could hire women to have babies for experiment.
Then again women who would sell their baby, are in a round about way giving it a better life since the family who 'buys a baby' wants it.
I am often sickened by what seems to be going on. Maybe it always did and media wasn't as wide spread but I think its worse than ever.

I find it interesting that the media is involved in this case practically minutes after the baby was discovered missing. Clearly we're going to be hearing about this from beginning to end, regardless of the outcome. Of course the ideal outcome would be locating the infant safe and alive, and successfully prosecuting those responsible for the crime. Be it the the mother or someone they were associated with.
They should also be looking into known outlets in human trafficking. Yes, it does exist in the U.S. It's well known that caucasian, blue eyed babies fetch a ton of money on the market. So the first thing they should be doing is looking into people that the couple know, especially those who have checkered pasts.

This is something that is not new.A child vanishes and the parents are suspected in the abduction.Very sad indeed.

yeah I herd a mother tried to sell her baby at a taco bell. people are sick. if you don't want your child give it to a loving home that can take care of him and her and raise them with love. so many women are unable to get pregnet and then you have women killing their kids because they don't want them. it's sick.

Sadly its not only because they don't want them but they see them as live stock. Revenue. That's just utterly disgusting.

i agree. and the scene of the crime is to easy for them to lie. someone steals a baby and 3 cell phones. it looks like the mother called the kidnapper to come in and take the baby. now phone records are gone. it's like a easy set up. I hate to think about what happened to that baby. it sickens me parents could do that. I don't know if the father knew what was going on. but I don't think they will get away with it. I don't know what's wrong with people these days. how someone can take a life and not even care.

Reminds me of Susan Smith.. What a sad outcome.

All we can hope for is it was for the money and the baby was 'bought' by a family who wanted a child and not something like the Susan Smith situation. That's not the best either to have the baby have been sold but a caring buyer is all we can hope for at this time.

I also wanted to add that when it comes to a pre-meditated kidnapping, the person or persons who snatch the child or person usually leave a ransom note or make some kind of phone call. The fact that none of this happened in this case is arousing my suspicion quite a bit. The only other explanation is if someone wanted to kidnap the baby to sell, or for any other malicious reason where the family isn't getting the child back in any case whatsoever....
I'm also disturbed by what has gone on with the mother. She has not, in any way, done much to make herself look good. I really, really hope that this doesn't turn out to be yet another case of a child being harmed by those sworn by God to protect them. And honestly, I hope beyond anything else that nobody would be stupid enough to attempt that.
But seeing the way people vote and behave in general, that hope gets lost awfully quick.

I agree there's been a rather sloppy job to even rig evidence to take the attention off the mother.

Remember the lady in Australia who claimed her child was stolen by a dingo? Reminds me of that.

Sometimes there's a prepared story to toss the authorities off. I am impressed how well things like that are foiled and how often they do get to what really happened.
I guess its true what they say that there is no such thing as a perfect crime.
