well I am not longer with AT&T because my ex was always telling me t-mobile is much cheaper. he had a prepaid and for unlimited talk, text and web is 60 bucks a month mostly 68.12. so I decided to go for that cell phone company. well that ended up my big mistake. I read over the 2 year contract where it looked good with $70.00 for unlimited talk, text and web. I got my phone free online and paid for the shipping. the lady who activated my phone I asked her to make sure it would not be over 70. she told me twice it was 70 a month except for the 1st month because it will have the 35.00 activation charge. a few days ago I get a call about my phone and to let me know it's 90 a month. I was like what I was told 70. she said no it's 90 when I was in jersey. I was so mad more then words can say. I have to call today and see if I can cancel. I asked about this on facebook and 2 people told me they are under contract with the same thing unlimited paying 59. this one other person said it's 90 because of the new charges they added. about 95 percent on facebook are complaining about being lied to and horrible custormer service. also everyone like me is having dropped calls. you know how badly I wanna go back to AT&T it's not even funny. they always were truthful about the cost because I asked them many questions.
so this thread made me think does anyone have a good cell phone provider they are happy with?

It just never works out that way. I'm not saying that's right but it just seems that whenever you are shown something its 'oh, you want texting? and voice mail, and access, '
Like car shopping. There's a very base model but if you really want functional features it ends up costing much more.
I wish they would just be more truthful.
My cell phones are through Virizon. Its not perfect but it's been ok.

Obviously Angel607 is looking for helpful tips and I wish I had some. I've had four different cell phone suppliers at different times and have not had much luck with any of them.

well I got more bad news today. I can't end my contract. I did find out I was on the 79.99 and they put me on a 69.99 plan. I didn't understand this because 2 weeks I read online it was 70 bucks prepaid or contract. activation I was told 70 bucks a month. it turns out att is not done with me. they said I had 3 months to pay the bill and they would reactivate the phone. so I didn't want that and bill was not paid. next bill came with late charges. so I owe 109 bucks by august 11th because I called and they said it has to be paid. I am leaving for hershey in 3 weeks so I ended up having a horrible day. today I emailed att to make sure this bill has to be paid. I wanted to make sure this will be the last one.
and phil my friend has verizion and said she hardly ever has dropped calls. tonight to make myself feel better I went on priceline to find hotels near hershey at discount rates. I found some reasonable prices.

I have very little trouble with dropped calls except for that you're going to lose a call once in a while with any phone. But I've had good luck with Verizon.

T-Mobile is not cheap! For just a prepaid deal, yes, but if you want unlimited talk, text, and web, go with Boost. You can start at fifty and end up at thirty five after six month periodsof on time payments your rate goes down five bucks. Virgin is also good if you're a heavy texter. The thing though is the coverage isn't as good as some of your contract deals.

Whatever doesn't drop calls is good. I had trouble with most of my phones.

I have A,T&T and have had 0 problems. My phone is not a smart phone nor do I text anyone. I only use it in emergencies or is I want to call my friend in Canada. That's just me. I don't like to talk on the phone much.
