and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
we all know the poem, but, on this iconic night of love and togetherness, how are you spending your time? do you have any traditions or rituals? in my house we always spend an hour cutting and peeling the brussel sprouts for dinner tommorow. the adults have a drink, and we all get ready for the day ahead!
how are you spending it?
merry christmas to all, and if you dont celebrate it, have a good holiday.

Today I went to work for an hour to fire the noon gun and then when I got home I was greeted with all the usual christmas eve stuff: Meat tray with cheeses and vegetables, chips and dip, mixed nuts, oranges, a bowl filled with punch that my mom makes every year at this time, grandma, uncle, cousins... I also spent some of my afternoon wrapping all the stuff I bought. I always leave this until the last day, and then I try to sneak it under the tree when nobody else is home later in the evening (they usually go to a church survice... bleh). We were running really low on wrapping paper and our cat destroyed most of the stuff I turned up but I still got the job done, for yet another year

Argh! The cat who tried to kill christmas! Or is it supposed to be steal?
We don't have much of a set schedule for christmas eve here, but this year my parents have been cooking since 3:00 PM. I'm preparing for a feast, which involves not eating that much... It isn't easy with all the christmas food around. We're having a few guests over and my grandma. In fact, think they're here now. Gotta go!
Hope everyone's plans go well!

I'm basically just sitting here. I've been drinking, but nothing too serious. I'll probably go to bed later.

For this Christmas we get to see Gifish, GetZ and some other members who are sometimes away for a long time.
On a personal note I finished putting together a tricycle for my three yearold son. And just about everything is ready.
Santa Claus has made his rounds here.
My brother Thunderbird is in town for today and tomorrow.
The rest of my family was here at Thanksgiving time and we went to see them not too long ago and we may do that again after the new year.
I'm really in a Chirstmas frame of mind now and I'm thrilled to have it be Christmas morning.

Yeah it's nice to see a few guys who tend to be less active.
Santa was good to us at my house I hope he was to all of you too.
