Ryan Dunn, 1 of the cast of Jackass Tv died Sunday night/ Monday morning in a car crash. I am not a fan of Jackass TV I find it rather stupid and impressionable to kids who haven't found their best judgment yet.
To make matters worse he was drunk and speeding. Yes, don't try that at home.
However I am not glad he died and I do not wish that on anybody especially he had a passenger that's worse. Nobody is 'good enough' to drive drunk.

I am kind of familiar with the show but I was not a regular watcher of it. I heard he was going about 180 is that even possible. That's what one news report said though.

i have never seen the show but I don't know what was going through his mind to get drunk and get behind the wheel with one of his friends. it's really sad. I herd that they never seen a accident this bad. at the rate of his speed and the impact of the crash is horrible. people need to understand if they are going to drink make sure to have a friend there for you call a taxi. never get behind the wheel.

The thing is he was a daredevil and he figured that he knows how to not be injured or killed in these situations. Its a cocky confidence developed over time. Sometimes it catches up there is a law of averages. He made a dumb decision if he was drunk and driving.

I think he got a little too arrogant. I am not saying he deserved what happened, but life on the edge usually ends early.

I've seen 'Jackass' quite a few times, so I'm familiar with the show. While I thought a few of the stunts were funny, a lot of them made me go, 'WTF is wrong with these people?' Anyway while it is sad that one stupid decision ended Ryan's life and the life of his passenger, it sends the message that you should never drink and drive, and never ride in a car with a drunk driver. It's just not worth it!

i agree with you fartinggurl. I read in the news I think that he had 8 beers and 11 shots. it might of been the other way around I forget. but I don't know what went through his mind to not make sure someone would have a taxi or a sober person to pick him up. it's really sad. here in allentown there was something I was shocked to read in the news. but in center city allentown pa a 17 year old boy made a homemade go kart. he drove it through a red light into oncoming traffic and got hit. he is now in the hospital with life threatening conditions and they don't know if he will make it. people really need to think before they act because one mistake and that could be it.

Yes Fartinggurl you're right on the money, most of the time he acted like just that, a JACKASS!
I am sorry he died but I am not surprised.

All I have to say is that he died the way he lived.
Fast.
Drunk.
Stupid.

it kills me when people are drunk and they get behind the wheel. they know they are in danger of killing a family in another car if they crash. yet they still do it. celebrities do it alot and justice sometimes fails to give them what they deserve. paris hilton spent hardly 2 weeks in jail. nicole ritchie spent 1 hour. I understand that ryan did crazy stunts but you know having drinks then driving yourself is a horrible thing to do and it ended really bad. that's the last stunt he will ever do.

You know, often times when you hear of a nasty crash in the news, it involves innocent drivers who die for someone else's piss poor decision. Seemingly half the time the loser who caused it all will live. Being famous shouldn't get you off the hook, and this is the rare occasion when celebrity idiocy is punished. It was his own fault, and I just can't bring myself to feel sorry for him. I do feel bad for the families left behind in situations like this, and wonder what his is really thinking. All I can say is he just earned himself a Darwin Award. I'm sorry, but I'm not in the mood to water it down today.

You shouldn't have to water it down.
A few years ago there were 2 hockey players, Dany Heatly and Dan Snyder. Heatly was driving well over 100 miles an hour and wrecked the car. Snyder was comatose and died after about a week. Heatly was injured somewhat, but he missed about half the hockey season with injury and legal trouble over this but he was never imprisoned and he was back to playing in the NHL as soon as possible and has played ever since. Seemingly no major repercussions at all.
I think it was a speed accident and alcohol was not involved but that doesn't change the fact that Heatly killed a man.

i agree with everything you said demona. it's okay to not feel sorry for him because he choose to drink and drive his friend home. being a celebrity he could have easily arranged for a limo to wait outside for him or made arrangements for someone to pick him up. instead he chose to drive his friend home fully drunk and ended his life along with ryan's. and phil that is a good example of celebrities getting away with things because of their celebrity status. a regular person would of done jail time. there's a saying don't do the crime if you can't do the time. but many celebrities get out of doing the time they should be serving. that needs to change.
