As for the web browsing, I see Lewasite the same as I would on a desktop or laptop (nice and green) computer. I do too. I had a different forum skin selected. Oh cool. I never bothered changing the skins so it's always been green. This post is brought to you by my iPod touch. This can only tap through to the web by hooking into whatever wifi networks are floating around, but if I really wanted to do it (or had the extra cash sitting around) I could put it on my AT&T plan so it can just use the 3G network. Soon to be 4G from what I'm told. All this stuff is cool.

If it's an iPod Touch, it doesn't have a GSM 3G radio installed. It can't use data without wifi or make any calls (unless there's a VOIP program for iOS). It won't be upgradable to 4G, and neither will the iPhone 3G/3GS/4. None of them have a 4G radio installed. However, if you ever upgraded your iPhone 4 you could then use it as if it were an iPod touch. I plan on doing that whenever I upgrade my Droid. I'll eventually just use it for wifi only.

I know we're moving in that direction pretty soon there wont be any flip open phones.
I though it was amazing when you could take pictures with your phone. I was in the work force when you found payphones to make a call. I was 25 when I got my 1st cell phone and that was because I was getting married and was often working a travel shift and needed a number to be reached at while on the fly. Most of the others still didn't have 1. In 1998 they made you get a phone in order to have the job. You had til the end of your trial period to get 1. But now everybody has a phone anyway and they're getting to be Iphones anyway.

In response to Kevin's post about the 4G network, I looked up more information about Apple and when their products will be able to carry it. The iPhone 5 is assumed to be ready for announcement and release this summer (June of July), and that it will not be compatable with 4G. The reports I'm reading say the iPhone won't have capability for it until the iPhone 6 is ready for release, maybe next year if they stay on track.
Seems like Apple is lagging behind a bit, least as far as the new network is concerned. Other companies are coming out with 4G compatible smartphones already. Something tells me the people at Apple didn't anticipate that happening so quickly.

You should consider leaving the dark side and coming to Android.

Ha ha, the reason I joined AT&T in the first place was to help out my girlfriend and my best friend. I was previously on Sprint, while they were both on AT&T. I was able to talk for free, but since they're the two people I chat with the most, it was costing them a lot of money because network to network was eating up their minutes. I had planned on getting a new plan anyway, and since AT&T users talk to each other for free it was a no brainer. Cut down on their bills considerably.
Then AT&T came out with the mobile 2 mobile addition to plans, which lets you talk to any other cellular phone on any network provided your plan has unlimited texting. Which we all did.
D'oh!
Ah well, I still like having my own plan instead of being stuck on the Sprint family plan.

No complaints but not committed either. if you desire a droid phone around april 10 it is your eldest sons birthday just saying ;D ;D I'll try to remember that if I'm feeling generous. Having chores and homework done early could improve your father's generosity but doesn't guarantee luxuries like that. Just saying.

I guess, over all, I can't complain since my company issues and pays for my cell. The only problem I have is; if I ever leave the company and have to get my own phone.... I have no idea what a 4G/Android/Black Berry is.
They hand me a phone and I go "Okie dokey".

Those are the 'smart phones' that go online and are basically a hand held computer that make phone calls. I pods some of them go online too. Sooner or later we will all be forced to use them because our pocket flip phones will be obsolete. I don't have any of those yet either but I'm pretty sure within a year or so there wont be a choice for people who are out and about for work to locate things and info even pick up e mail that way.

Android is a Linux-based mobile operating system. BlackBerry is a brand name of smart phones produced by RIM.

Sorry I have not been online for so long. Our Internet provider switched over about 3 weeks ago, and we have been having trouble with our connection being slow at certain times. We have DSL, but our computers were running at Dial-Up speed during the times it ran slowly. Because of this, my parents are thinking of switching over to another provider, but since the provider we currently have has offices not far from where we live, we are still thinking about it.
