Did anyone do any shopping today? I got quite a bit for myself but I was able to get some Christmas shopping in for my gal. - TomTom ONE LE GPS (I got in line at Best Buy at 1:30 in the morning for this. Got my ticket to be guaranteed it at 3:30 and came back and got it later.)
- 2GB SD card.
- 300 two disk special edition DVD
- Car charger for my phone
- Nike Ohio State basketball jersey
- Nike Ohio state football sideline hat
- Zip up hoodie
- Keychain that displays digital photos
- Same keychain for my girlfriend
- Purse for my girlfriend
- Sterling silver/gemstone necklace for my girlfriend
Only ran about $250 for the day... I don't wven want to know how much it would have been on a normal day.

I shopped a little this morning but I didnt linger the mall too long. I use to work in a department store. I remember Black Friday. Thats brutal because you run out of things and you just cant restock fast enough to keep with the crowds.
So being a shopper compared to a clerk it was actually easier this time. ;D
Spartan it looks like you got a lot done with your shopping.

Spartan, nice job with the TomTom! I use our companies TT whenever I have to go into Chicago or Detroit. Those things are so accurate that they'll even tell you what lane to be in on the highway (helpfull when there are 5+ lanes). I also learned some Chinese while driving in places that I already new! (by switching the 'Spoken Voice' to Mandarin.) It's been a while, but I seem to remember 'Mowm Pow' meaning 'Left', I think. Be carefull what you buy, though. Ninja Gifts

Black Friday. No Way.
Blastgirl does a lot of catalog shopping. I just wait until about December 10 to start and get it done by the 24th that's all it takes to meet the deadline.

Not me. I wouldn't dream of shopping on Black Friday.
I made mention of that on YouTube too.
For me I'm kind of lucky I don't do that much shopping my wife takes care of most of what is a joint venture. So I shop for my parents, my wife and I get the cool things for the kids toys and fun stuff.
Left up to my wife the kids would get socks and educational dvds how fun is that? That's where I come in.

Everybody hates Black Friday.
I didn't go shopping because we were away but I kind of enjoy it.
I was kind of little when the Cabbage Patch kids were the hit item and That was real fun to fight the crowd and we didn't even get one. But that's something I will never forget. I was only about seven or eight but that was super being at the stores when people battled for the Cabbage Patch kids.

I'm in Canada and we dont have out Thanksgiving last Thursday but the shopping season starts about now too.
We have boxing day the day after Christmas. I don't think anybody else has boxing day but that's the return things day and it's nationally acclaimed as its own day.

So that's what boxing day was. I thought you put the gloves on and beat on whoever gave you socks instead of cool gifts. Well what do I know?

Black Friday. I don't understand everybody's rush. That usually means you have a month to get it done anyway.
My wife does our joint shopping. I shop for my parents, my wife and well I will pick out some fun gifts for the kids because my wife seems to think socks and shirts are what kids want for Christmas. I however have a better idea of what's more fun because I happen to be a 36 year old kid.
