I've figured that there times I may be the world's greatest dad but not necessarily on chores day. That worlds best dad thing probably goes down the drain about then. Hmm, I never minded 'Chore Day/s' but, then again, my "chores" were mostly instigated by my grandpa and involved: Driving a 4 wheeler to drag brush to the designated fire pit. Using a chainsaw to cut up wood - and a double bladed axe to split it (for winter use). Using an Allis-Chalmer tractor to plow snow/pull down dead-wood (how I learned all about 'block and tackle'). Trueing rifle scopes in the field on our auto-resetting target (something my g-pa invented/made [saved alot of walking].) Helping dig wells with those huge/long drills. Washing firetrucks. Feeding Hatchet and Spunkers (the firehouse Dalmations) and helping inspect and care for fire/rescue equipment (including checking lightbar bulbs and sirens.) Over all, it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it.. How much of this type of stuff does Jason do, Phil?

Wow Mahnarch you had some fun chores. I kind of did too. I never minded cutting grass and painting though.

I once helped my grandpa scrap and paint a house.
Once.....
I didn't mind it too much, but I got OCD about the paint chips and it took forever.
Mowing with a push mower kinda sucked, too. But the rider was fun and fast. Even faster was putting the 8ft wide blades on the Allis-Chalmer but, the tractor tires tore up the yard pretty bad.

Riders are better than walk behinds but I dont mind cutting grass with either type of mower. I don't mind weed whacking either. Raking sucks. I'd usually try to get away with just mowing it all into little mulch. Vacuuming and dishwasher loading and unpacking I would protest because I felt thats why I have 3 sisters I shouldn't have to do that kind of stuff.
Ok ok girls don't get mad at me it was just a little joke.
