first I want to say I hope everyone has a great christmas. I work 1-10 tomorrow but I found out I am getting coverage and working with my favorite co-worker. that makes me very happy. yesterday I had to deal with this teenage boy who had a really bad attitude. at least his mother was nice. he wanted to pick out a ring so he kept telling me this row and that row. he couldn't just tell me what the ring looked like other then that one no that one then start screaming at me because I dont know where that one is. his mother tells me the exact ring only it was wrong then he used Jesus name in vain so I wont repeat it. after all his screaming I got the right ring and his mom said she was sorry for his temper. after that I was really ticked off at that pain. today was crazy. I helped my co-worker with a project then I went to take the boxes back to the trash compacter. thats when a custormer actually stopped me to show me a price tag on a shirt asking if that was the price. wow people are funny lol. then I had to do jewelery for 2 hours because it was so bad. I called my co-worker for help and to deal with this guy who could not speak great english. it was funny because he was being a pain asking why something was not on sale at a certain price. I could hardly understand him but my co-worker walked passed me and said someone is being a pain in my (butt). I sencored that word. then they called me to checkouts when the 3rd person in softlines was in dinner. so my co-worker yelled at and said no you can't have her. there is no coverage on the floor and jewelery is busy. so on the walkie they said I have to get returns at the service desk. my co-worker said that's it I am turning my walkie off their driving me nuts. I wanted to get my dinner while we had coverage but the hr manager paged me to checkouts. I wanted to snap. then at 3:30 she tells me to close because I am by myself doing clothing department and jewelery by myself. so working 11-8 I had to wait to get my first break which was my hour dinner because lines at checkouts is more important. I never got my 2 15 minute breaks. coverage didn't come until 5pm. you have no idea how glad I am christmas is saturday because this holiday stress is a nightmare. kmart not having coverage is just making my life worse.

Weatherwise Christmas was perfect here. We had snow covering the grass and rooftops but the roads were clear. And there wasn't 1 of those blinding storms that you can't see and travel wasn't bad.

Its a little busy here we have Classic's Family from out of town. But we don't see them as much as we would like to so it's very nice. That's just how it is when two Married people are from two different States. Its not a drill we're not familiar with by now though.

Do you make resolutions? Im thinking Id like to resolve not to procrastinate and try to get things done and done carefully right away and not wait til the last minute.
I probably learned something from my students that the work done at the last minute is so obviously done in a hurry theres mistakes made by rushing. Thats not just homework thats everything get started early and inch by inch everything is a cinch

We're approaching a new year. I don't make resolutions because I don't think you should wait til January 1 to change things if changes need to be made. You can make those changes anyday. Not just January 1.
I like the idea that its going to be 1/1/11. Its going to be funnier in November 11/11/11.

The first week of the new year is in the books.
I have good vibes so far. I know that can be taboo to say something like that but I just have a feeling about this year being better for moral overall.

Thats not just homework thats everything get started early and inch by inch everything is a cinch I used to have problems with procrastination back in elementary school. I would wait until the last possible minute to finish my homework or a big project, and there would be many mistakes and the work was sloppy. When I was a week late with a project, I should have gotten a 100%, but since it was late, I got a 90%. Ever since that I learned to never put work off, and even if the task is a large one, by doing a little of it at a time, it does not seem like a lot of work, than if you do it at the last minute and think, 'I'll never get this done.'
