I can't believe that Christmas came so quickly. It seems as though just last week we were celebrating Thanksgiving.
Anyway what are your plans for Christmas and New Year's this year? What gifts are you hoping to receive? What are some of your traditions.
Every year on Christmas Eve, my parents and I drive around looking at Christmas lights, as we listen to the reading of 'A Christmas Carol' on the radio. Then when we get back we watch 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas,' the one Boris Karloff narrates, and afterward we watch 'A Christmas Story.'
On Christmas Day my parents and I open our presents at our house, and then later we go to my grandparents house and open presents at their house, along with my aunt, uncle, and younger cousin, and we have dinner. After dinner we play board games as we watch the 24 hour marathon of 'A Christmas Story.'
However I'm still not sure what is going on for New Year's yet. One gift I know that I'm getting is a new purse, as the purse I have right now, one of the inside pockets are torn. Also all my shopping is done, and all my gifts are wrapped, so I don't have to worry about that.

Obviously A Christmas Carol, the Grinch and Scrooge are a must to watch during Christmas season. How about its a Wonderful life? I watched it just got finished watching it.
My parents and possibly my brothers are going to come down for a few days after Christmas. Not the day itself but they're going to be here much of the following week.
Its going to be a little less visiting now because I now have a "Real Job" and I'll have to work al except for New Years eve of next week but that's how it is. I'm not sure my bothers would stay the full week even if they do come but they're not all that busy the week between Christmas and New Years.
My parents might take my sons with them for a few day visit.
That's not really traditional things but that's what we have planned for this year.

It seems to come a little faster each year. And comes a bit faster than the last year.

We had early Christmas dinner last weekend because for Thanksgiving nobody could make it. For Christmas we're staying home, I have the night before off, but work the night of. It's fine, we didn't have vacation plans or something.

Last count Christmas day is at Blastgirl's family's house. My parents are flying in Sunday afternoon. My brother Thunderbird is coming for sure my other brother has 3 kids and might not bring the wife and kids this time. So its doubtful. Thunderbird will likely fly out Wednesday but my parents might stay til New Years eve.

christmas eve I get to spend it at work 1-10. new years eve and day I get off for the first time in 11 years. I requested off because my one friend got a part in the rocky horror picture show as brad majors. it's in philly in jenkinstown at the fig cafe. karoke will be held 7-11pm. then the show starts at midnight-3am. I already have reservations for my hotel. I know it's a weird way to celebrate new years but I am a fan of the rocky horror picture show. I leave december 31st in the morning. christmas I will hopefully go to my grandmother's house in new jersey as long as no winter snow storms come our way.

Nothing wrong with that you do what you want to celebrate New Years eve.
