This probably doesn't deserve to be its own thread but what the hell? I'm a Sergeant and rank has its privileges.
I placed a gift order and printed the claim and the order number is 61471. I found that kind of ironic that happens to be my date of birth.
I know nobody cares and its unimportant but I had a few minutes of time to kill so I posted this.

That is awesome Phil. I whole heartily believe that "the other side" gives us clues during our lives to let us know they still love us and are around us.Last week I found a penny. I find them all the time and I know they are from my Mom. I had a pretty rough week last week and sort of had the blues. When I found the penny it turned out to be a Canadian penny, 1974. My best friend Brandy is Canadian and was born in 1975. It was my mom's way of telling me I will always have Brandy's love along with hers.Maybe? Someone close to you who has passed wanted you to know they are around you?

Just reread it. 6 14 71 your date of birth. June 14, 1971.
I wonder if that happens more often than we realize but don't notice the numbers on an invoice.

Phil I think that's amazing. something like that does not happen to often to me but it's cool when it does. I also agree with Beangirl when it happens to you the other side is letting you know something good. I read a lot about when people passed and they would find pennies as Beangirl said. there were beautiful touching stories people would write about called pennies from heaven in dear abby. some stories made me cry. even in heaven when they pass they are still watching over you.

Angel? My mom used to read Dear Abby everyday in our newspaper. When I was a child once and awhile I used to come home from school to find a small gift on my bed. It was something my mom had bought me while out shopping. I read the dear Abby Column about "Pennies from Heaven" It was not too long after that I started finding a single penny when I was out. When I faced something difficult I would find a penny.I knew it is my mom.Now when I find one I say " Awe, Thanks Mom. I love you too."

It's funny how we encounter little things like that every once in a while. I got most of my Christmas shopping done today. I only need to get one more thing. I think I ordered the online stuff just in time to get it before the actual day.

I've probably had this happen before this time it got my attention.
I have more shopping to do. I love how shipping is more costly when its important to have in before Christmas. Thieving illegitimate childs. lol

Stuff like that does not happen to me often, but I do have one in which someone you loved is watching over you. A couple years ago, a friend of mine committed suicide (the same friend I talked about here a couple years ago whose body was found in an abandoned building). Anyway about a week after his memorial service, I was driving somewhere, and I happened to be driving on the street where the abandoned building he was found in is located. I had on the radio, and it was in the middle of a commercial, and right when I drove past the building, a song by the band Linkin Park interrupted the commercial.
Linkin Park was his favorite band, and at that time I happened to be listening to a station that does not play rock songs, and the song that started playing was, 'Leave Out All The Rest.' If you have never heard the song, it basically says that even though someone had done some things in the past that were wrong, they just want people to remember them for who they were, not what they had done, after they were gone.
I heard that song on that particular radio station for a couple months afterward, and every time I hear that song, I think of my friend and all the good times we had. Also if I happen to be driving past that abandoned building, I always give a nod, like I'm saying hello and that I'll always remember him.
