Friday's have been as of late, 14 hours. The night before we've been leaving in the morning and I can never have enough sleep. I'm always tired and the little amount I have doesn't cut it.
I've been buying energy drinks, usually the 5 hour kind. I think the usual people working behind the counter at the gas station know I work long hours more or less. I've mentioned it at least.
So I go in, and this time a girl I haven't seen asks to see my I.D. to buy one. She dropped the issue when I said how old I actually was, and what I do. I don't know if in my state there is a law about age limit on those now, but last I knew there wasn't. I don't think there should be for many of the brands. I'm not talking the alcoholic kind which are being banned either.
I'm just mad at the fact that irresponsible people have to ruin things for others. I mean stupid teenagers who'll drink the stuff or heaven forbid, take those Stacker 2 and YJ Stinger pills just because it "feels" like they're doing something wrong. The pills scare me, so I won't take one. I kind of wonder if those will be banned, because there would be a good reason.
I'm not recommending energy drinks or not, but just saying I you need to stay awake coffee and Mountain Dew don't always cut it and I can't fall asleep at work, or worse, driving. I'd rather have more sleep than have something as back up.

Those drinks get expensive, fast. I hope you don't get to a point where you're working just to pay for the drinks like those people who pretty much spend all their paychecks on gas just getting to work.

No, I'm not. I don't live for it and one now and then for when I can't otherwise wake up is what I meant. You should know me better than that.

Jason loves Red Bull. And wonders why he can't sleep. Gee, I wonder why.

I love red bull too. If I go out to a club or bar I always order red bull as I don't drink. It sometimes causes my blood sugar to drop. I start to get low blood sugar symptoms like sweating, confusion, and hunger. I think it has to do with the sugar rush then drop.

The reason they're so expensive and come in small containers is because you're not supposed to drink too much of it at once. The small container compound with the price is intended to limit the intake of it.
Jason drinks more of it than he should and wonders why he can't hardly sleep until late at night and then his mother has a hard time waking him up. Once in a while his teachers say he's groggy in class.
He gets good grades though. I drink a lot of coffee that's probably an energy drink too.

I've tried Red Bull and Rock Star energy drinks, but I thought they tasted like crap, so I have not had any since. I drink a lot of pop/ soda, my favorites being Coke Zero, Diet Mountain Dew, Pepsi Max, and Fresca. Once in a while I like to drink tea, Earl Grey is my favorite, so I get enough caffeine to not even need to drink energy drinks.

Rock Star and Monster are nasty! Sugary...and salty even! I like this one they sell at an import store that tastes fruity, but I rarely go there. I can't stand anything diet! I don't know how you can choke that down, fartinggurl! I love Cherry and Vanilla Coke, and sometimes I drink white Mt. Dew. I have tea here, it's peach mango flavored. I've never had Earl Grey, how is it?

I also don't care much for plain iced tea, or iced tea with lemon. I like raspberry iced tea though, no matter what brand.

Sweet tea is really good, and I love it. The downside is how it turns me into a peeing machine afterwards.

I stay away from them because they are good bolts of energy they can also become a very addictive thing and I have seen a number of guys become dependent on various energy drinks. I have used them and they do work but I got myself away from them after a while because I didnt like the amount of energy drinks I was consuming.

I have tried Spider energy drink and its pretty good but I don't over do it because making my heart race is not a good idea. One can of Spider doesn't make that happen but too many would .

I made the mistake of drinking a bottle of that water on a car trip, and I had to pee every 20 minutes.
