thanksgiving and black friday are gone. thanksgiving was miserable because I had to spend it at work. some really gross lady tried on ladies pants in the mens fitting room. I found them under a bence and inside the pants was wet because someone peed in them. I told a manager and she told me to throw it away and wash your hands. I was so discusted. I couldn't leave the store until 15 minutes after closing because people don't understand they need to stop shopping. black friday went and I am so glad I don't have to deal with it anymore. I had one lady yell at me because at checkouts she had a price check on a ladies coat. it was $109.00 and she said the sign said it was 20 bucks. I explained it's only the coats 80 bucks that are at that price. she yells I am wrong and she will show me the sign. again the sign does not change for someone who can't understand the concept of reading it. I told her again and she yelled well why is the sign here. I said because it says 80.00 coats are 20 bucks. she yelled the sign goes for everything. I swear I just wanted to throw something at her. when she realized I would not back down she said forget it. I can't deal with people like that. people have trashed the store for the holidays and been more rude. there was a lady who said to my co-worker at the fitting room it looks like you have nothing to do. don't you work around here? meanwhile my co-worker was hanging up a crap load of returns. I did hear some horror stories on black friday. in buffelo new york people were trampled at a target store on youtube. another store people camped out and when the doors opened someone line jumped in front of this lady. she threatened to shoot people with her gun even though she didn't have one on her. well you know they take threats very serious so I think she was arrested. she said she is not a violent person but she waited all night in line to get a toy for her child that is probaly sold out now. christmas is not about threatening people over a stupid toy because you need it. it is about people being with each other and spending time together. I hope everyone on here had a very happy holiday.

Again, sorry to hear that! I hope you get another job some day. It's totally gross that a person tried on a pair of pants and was too lazy to use the bathroom like a human being. The woman who pitched the fit over the coat must have been mentally challenged to not see the sign right. I don't know, but when I go to stores they have signs that list the different prices and how much they cost at a certain percent off.

thats the worst thing in the world i read demona saying mentally challenged for that lady that means demona is nicer than I am I would say that broad was a stupid igoerant beyotch!
thats like my friends mom that if the coat that was 109 was placed on a shelf that normally is for jars of penutbutter for 3.59 the coat should cost 3.59.
im going to go to the ford dealer down the street and put a price tag on the windshild wiper of a mustang that is 49.99 and see if I can get the car for that
people think that if a price sign is misleading thats what the price should be
sometimes car dealers put the monthly payment amount of the car on the windshield when its financed and other people think thats the price of the car
its so stupid

I feel for you Angel. Our Wal Mart had no real issues. I know all about dressing room drama. Of course we have had the same thing here too. Pee, poop and "male stuff" left behind. I swear to God people are dumb animals sometimes.

sometimes car dealers put the monthly payment amount of the car on the windshield when its financed and other people think thats the price of the car I hate it when dealers do that, actually, It makes me feel like they are hiding something (like the fact the vehicle is way overpriced). I nabbed the $189 Sony HandyCam at Walmart, I went after the rush, at 7:30 am, traffic and Wal-mart was pretty tame.

It lasts longer than just Black Friday though. To me it seems as if all of the stores and shopping areas are jam packed and will stay that way until Christmas.

I just can't believe that some people would pee in a pair of pants that did not belong to them. That is just so gross.
I went shopping on Black Friday, even though I said I would do my best to avoid it, but I went around 1:00 pm, and while there were still quite a few people, it was not ridiculous. However I will never wake up at 3:00 am just to be at the store by 4:00 am. I would rather sleep in.

Blastgirl starts Christmas shopping in May. Ok maybe I'm embellishing it a bit. Maybe it's September or something but she starts real early. That allows for more buying but what's the fun of the store rush then? Just wondering.

I always wait until the last minute. I found out that here in our malls the closer the days are to Christmas the more new merchandise they put out. You may buy sweater that you kind of like a month before then go back a few days before and see alot more you really like.

i agree jason it is really gross to pee in the stores pants.
thanks demona a better job would be nice. I get so tired of dealing with these slackers that get away with so much. however my co-workers are really nice so it would be hard to leave. but things need to change when it comes down to slackers. my co-worker went up to a cashier and said I don't mean to be smart but instead of reading a magazine you could help us straighten clothes. the girl gave my co-worker a dirty look. but they know at checkouts they should be doing custermer invatation or straightening clothes in ladies. I just want to smack some sense into their brains.
beangirl people are gross and insane. I mean sometimes they are worse then dogs. guys who would pee on the fitting room bench. a lady pooped in the fitting room and I almost stepped in it. where did they ever learn manners?
classicblast I have wondered about that myself. I never understood how people could camp out at a store for black friday deals. I know I herd some people say it's because money is short. but stores have great clearence sales. also a great store to shop at black friday is salvation army. years ago I did black friday shopping at jcpenny at 9am and it was pretty good. I can't wake up that early no matter what deals were offered. I can get some great stuff on ebay in lots for christmas.

I think the push for the Christmas rusk is still on until the last day before Christmas. That's just how it is.
Obviously the day after Thanksgiving has been dedicated as the day that leads to the most shoppers but I thing its going to remain a rush until Christmas eve at whatever time stores bolt their doors.
