Randy Moss has been waived. Like him or not he is among the best to play Wide Receiver in the National Football League.
The Vikings are expected to place him on waivers at 8am Tuesday. What will happen to this sure to be Hall of Fame receiver? Will this be an unglamorous end to a career or will he take off with someone else right away? No pun intended.
He does come with baggage though. He's had several bouts with the law. I doubt he has a good attitude and the more established a guy like that becomes the less good the attitude.
Obviously I didn't get to a major league level but I dealt with and lived with plenty of arrogant refuse to conform pompous asses in my playing days. Obviously that level player didn't even really have a reputation yet either.

I am surprised. I don't have any great love for Randy Moss but he is good. He was so good before he caught bad passes making fans think Dante Culpepper was NFL caliber.
I am a Buffalo Bills fan and I'd love to see a high name receiver there. They tried that with Terrell Owens last year this guy is even better. But I don't know that Ryan Fitzpatrick is the QB who could make Moss effective enough. But then again Culpeper wasn't much good in my opinion and that worked out.
The Bills get 1st dibs on Moss since they have the worst record in the league.
I have no doubt someone will hire him this season though.

Usually when a player is released it's more than one issue.
