I am so angry about the story about the woman who shook a 3 month old baby to death because the baby was crying loud enough to interrupt farmville. An internet game is more important than her baby how dare he inconvenience this dingbatted little beotch!

Any person that even thinks about harming a child, especially one as innocent and defenseless as a baby, make me want to throw up. There is something underlying about this whole thing; there is some kind of mental issue that I believe definitely had a hand in her doing this.

Mandatory sterilization should be part of the sentence brought down on this one. It wouldn't be implausible that she would attempt to get pregnant again after she gets out of in howeversomany years to get ahold of some government assistance.

This is the worst thing possible. There's no chance of it even being an accident. Parents have killed babies accidentally and that doesn't even hold water but this is horrible. Obviously I am sure she didnt think the baby would die she hoped he would stop crying but there's no defense for this whatsoever.

i don't understand how any sane person can do something like that to her own child. I read that she could get 15-20 years and then they were talking about letting her go early. I think she must of been crazy before this happened over facebook but maybe nobody noticed. I read where she shook the child and then went back to smoking a cigerette to calm herself down. the fact that she killed her child over a game that isn't even real tells me she should of kept her legs closed. I babysat my friends kids and yes they cry it happens. they need to be fed or changed or just give them some attention. she should of gave her baby to a loving family not taken it's life. she's a sick stupid human being. it's sad that poor child's life was taken so soon over a so called mother that wasn't fit to raise a fly.

i agree with you fartinggurl. sometimes I think the justice system in some cases is messed up. when it comes to violent murders with people who intend to take someone's life they spend time in jail when I think the chair would be easier. they want the person to spend time in jail to think about what they did. but how many times do people get released early for good behavior only to kill again. I don't even know what goes through someone's mind when they try to shake their own baby because a online game is more important. I don't know the story of how she came to have a child but it sounds like she never cared to be a parent. her poor child never had the chance for a good life that he or she very much deserved. it worries me because if this woman gets a short sentence what happens when she gets out. are they going to allow her around kids? I remember O.J. simpson trial when I was so angry they said he was found innocent and released. he wrote a book called if I did it to make money off the 2 murders which I thought was sick. years later justice was finally served when he was arrested again for armed robbery. but to this day I still believe he killed his wife. it does worry me when this woman is released what might happen. I just think in some cases justice is blind and they need more strict laws and heavier sentences.

I don't really know what would be suitable other than execution in the case of this woman. Farmville is that important.

I suppose she didn't think the baby would die but she certainly knew that course of action was too rough for a newborn. And the reason for being rough was to quiet the baby. There's no justification of any kind here.

If she thinks farm labor is so easy that should be her work. She should be fed only enough to live and nothing but the basic things you have to have to survive.

That's a good idea. They all say they have grapes growing when the planting was last night. Growing whole orchards in 3 days...

I think that's an excellent idea. Shovel real cow crap and see how long it takes to grow trees.

i like Kimm's idea. this lady should get up early everyday and do what farmer's do. she should be forced to see her child in a picture slide show every single day of her life. the life she took away. I hope she watches it and cries because she deserves all the pain coming her way for what she did. I mean why on earth would you rather spend time with your computer then your own child. that's just nuts.

I think its a great idea. But of course the ACLU and other 'foul foul foul' crying organizations would resent it. Hard labor isn't constitutional.

I have no answers here. I am a true crime buff and this crime happens all too often. People going off there nut because there infant won't stop crying or whatever. The Lisa Steinberg case comes to mind . She was older but clearly an abused child . Joel Steinberg should have been raped with tree trunk and left naked in the woods to bleed to death as far as I am concerned. He is free now.
