Happy anniversary.
I am bidding lewasite forum the happy anniversary as Friday will mark 4 years of the forum's establishment. [Est November 9, 2003.]
We had a dark few months leading to the forum's near destruction but the good has by far out weighed the bad. The forum members have changed over the 4 years as that will always happen but there's still a few of us active since the beginning.
I think there's at least 6 of us that visit lewasite regularly still who have been forum members since the forum's introduction in 2003.
Since people have always and will always come and go our newer members are just as important as the originals. So I would like to say happy anniversary to lewasite 1 and all.

Phil, no. The forum that Lewa started in 2003 died in 2006. This isn't the same place. Almost everyone who was active here up until the asploding of the site in mid '06 is no longer active. I could count all the remaining members from that time on my fingers. This is the 'new' Lewasite. The place ruled by fetishists, rabid Conservatives, and middle aged housewives. It is totally different from the old lewasite, which was full of teen-to-young-adult aged people who spent their time discussing art, games, and random things.

Not entirely agreed Slayer X. For the most part the site has remained mostly true to its original foundation by Lewa and maintained by Sizzlepop for quite some time. Demographics in memberships change in all walks of life. Congressional committees. The congress in 1950 was not the same as the congress of today. Some policies have differed but the main traditions are the same.
The New York Yankees of 1978 and then 1996 and now are not the same people either but the tradition continues. Lewasite has also undergone some changes but I date back to the very first day. Lewa made the announcement that he had started this site and I joined.
I knew Phil, Sizzlepop and other people from other sites and they joined.
Several sites helped feed lewasite's membership base but sodarace is by far the biggest resource for membership.
It's been a good four years overall.

Several sites helped feed lewasite's membership base but sodarace is by far the biggest resource for membership. google for me! yay google! from google I found pkbbs, the only other forum im consistent in. then, I googled how to make my own. found proboards, searched for other proboards and found this. from here I found sodaconstructor, gamemaker and a few other niceys. thanks guys. although, I think it would be a little cooler with the young people from before. ahh well

You're a great member. If you're looking to bring out a younger average age maybe some of your friends would like to join.

It has been 4 years now. And l was one of the first members.
It's a good homecoming for me when I'm not able to get on for a while too.
