That sure looks like something right out of James Bond.
It doesn't jam the phone permanently though, right? I think that's how I understood it. It just does the jamming for the moment. I guess the legality is sticky because they could argue that you weren't able to call the fire department or something because the phones were jammed.
They do make the point though. I think that's the only solution in some cases. I'm not as old as Phil and Thunderbird hahaha. But when I was in school hahaha We didn't all have phones either. And the school never burned down and we all got through the day without the phones.
Jason that's the most transparent tactic I've ever seen to let your father figure you're thinking of him and not scold you for being up so late. hahaha.

i like my phone i can text my dad at work and tell him im thinking of him that way he doesnt get mad that I shoud be asleep i text on the bus and after school not in school I know better Think so? Usually its the text is to ask for something when you're supposed to be in bed. Seriously though Jason doesn't sleep much. Very untypical of his age. I don't sleep much now but when I was his age I definitely slept as late as my parents would let me.

I did not get a cell phone until I was 18, when I got my driver's license. I'll admit it is handy if someone calls and needs me to run to the store and pick something up on the way home and in case of emergencies. However I do not text on my cell phone, as it costs too much monthy with my call plan.
If there are times when I'm not planning on going anywhere or if I'm going to be home all day, I won't even bother turning my phone on. If I'm needed when my cell phone is not on, people who know me well enough know to call my house phone.

I'll text alot, it's easier than calling and having to leave a message if they're gone, and feeling like an idiot talking to yourself. Anyway, my pet peeve is people who are out with you and rather than focus on their friends in person, have to yak on the phone. It's like saying you aren't important, and pisses me off so much. I don't see why it can't wait. I also hate that. One of my friends used to do that. Her and I would be hanging out, and her boyfriend would call, and she would talk to her boyfriend most of the time instead of me. When I called her out on it, she could not figure out why it annoyed me so much, until one of her friends did it to her.

You're supposed to talk to the person you're with at the time, not somebody who isn't there. Unless it's an emergency of course.

Believe it or not, when you're under contract with a team its nearly as rigid as being in the service. Obviously its not as rigid but you're not allowed to bring some things with you at times. Its up to the team manager if you're allowed to have a laptop computer on the road. They can make you turn your phone off for certain hours of the day and you can be fined or suspended if you don't conform. That probably wouldn't happen for one violation or two but if it happened more than that you will have some repercussions to face.
