christmas and black friday

I like shopping on black Friday. I usually start early and get it almost all done on that day.

kimm last time I got to shop on black friday was at the mall maybe 4 years ago. I usually have to work that day pretty late. but I do love christmas shopping. I go lehigh valley mall over here and they have this beautiful tall christmas tree. I love all the good deals also. christmas is my favorite holiday. to be around people opening presents near the christmas tree is always a lot of fun. it would be nice if I can have this black friday off.

I will not go shopping on Black Friday. I went shopping on Black Friday once, and I'll never do that again. I usually start my Christmas shopping in late October, but that is usually when I buy gift boxes, bags, wrapping paper, tape, and gift labels. I usually don't start buying the actual gifts until November, and I usually finish my Christmas shopping in mid December.

fartinggirl that's a good plan to get your christmas shopping done. I have had people at work just finish their shopping on christmas eve. that's something I have never done. I always make sure I go somewhat early. last year I shopped online for black friday and got pretty good deals at best buy.

Obviously they did that for a joke and I'd like to see the humor in it but I have to also think it gives undue credibility to the thieves.

As I think about it I wonder if it wasn't a publicity stunt all along. I guess we will never really know for sure. I was not aware of the story.

Classic it was a joke. Remember Cabbage Patch Kids came with a birth certificate ? Well the running joke was "A lady sent back her damaged Cabbage Patch doll to Mattel an they sent her a death certificate.
