Here's a new idea. Use YouTube and post your favorite sports movie moments, then tell why you like it so much.
Mine would be this scene. This fight is from the end of Rocky III, when Rocky fights Clubber Lang (Mr. T) in a rematch bout after getting owned in their previous match. I like this scene because after regaining his confidence, Rocky retrains himself to be a slimmer and faster fighter with the help of Apollo Creed, and once again the underdog, defeats Clubber soundly. He wanted it more than Clubber the second time around, something you can see in his eyes. I felt they captured the desire to be on top perfectly.

It's too hard for me to pick a scene in Remember The Titans. That whole movie is epic.

That's a good one Jason. "The Program" has always been a favorite among me, my Dad and my brother. We always have a tradition where we watch that movie in the beginning of football season. Now that we're both done playing ball, we'll watch it for the NFL starting.

I could have trouble narrowing to one.
Here's one of them. I'm not being too original since Jersey Life picked the Rocky 3 fight here's the Rocky 2 cliffhanger.
Its a two part video.
There's others that are great. I'll pick some out.

How about this? I was wishing a real baseball team would do a commercial like this after that ad.

I remember this. I was only about 8 or 9 but I remember Team USA beating The Soviet Union in the 1980 Olympics.

I could not find the end scene in the movie 'Rudy,' but this is still a good clip. I thought Rudy was a great movie because, even though many people told him that his dream of playing football for Notre Dame was unrealistic because he was not smart, not athletic, and too short, he went on to achieve that dream.
Another scene I liked was near the end where all the Notre Dame football players put their uniform on the desk of the coach, saying that they wanted Rudy to play in their place, since they knew how much that dream meant to him, and how hard he had worked for it.

That was funny. That was quite a shot from a guy who doesn't look very athletic. But he got in through the basket. "He won a check that says ten thousand dollars."
What movie is that from?

I believe it was from "Semi Pro" with Will Ferrell. I've never seen it but I recognize it.

correct, it is Semi Pro I have not seen that but it looks like a funny movie. The unexpected guy wins the wager and they're trying to welch on the bet. They placed the prize figuring nobody would actually win it.

This is not a movie scene but I like to play this song during workouts to kind of speed myself along. Its just a Kick-ass tune is the only way I can put it.

Since I'm a Bills fan there's a B movie called Second String. Its not anything of the Rockey magnitude but it's ok.
