Does everybody enjoy Halloween?
I always did.
It's fun, and I like the pumpkins and campfire type stories. I have a few real ghost stories I can tell.
But my older son is almost 3 and I'm going to take him trick or treating for his first time.
Granted he can't go to every door in the neighborhood but he can ring about 10 doorbells and get a piece of candy.
On Tuesday there's a community Halloween party for families especially kids. It's a show of costumes and then a dinner and a girl dressed as a pumpkin will pass out cake for desert.
We're going to take the boys to that. And apple cider is always a great feature of Halloween.
Does anyone else do anything special for Halloween?

I'm gonna be a member of the absurd invisible-mask ninja clan who skates around on a longboard assasinating shoguns and stealing the candy of small children.

I remember a lot of stories the Boys would tell about raising Kane on Halloween night. I doubt they really caused all the terror they claimed they did at School the next day but maybe.
I know none of them were as awesome as Captain Awesome though. "Trick or Bag Snatching." ;D

This is getting a little freaky but then again that's what Halloween is all about.
Because of the Mahnarch skit about having a stowaway Jason is planning on being a sailor this year.

I don't know, probably won't do anything this year, it's just not the same as it was back then.

I've always thought Halloween was fun. Now we get to give unlimited candy to little kids and we all know they need a good sugar high.
Our almost three year old chose a pirate costume he's going to look so cute.

i have a navy uniform for halloween i cant wait to trick or treat i will bring shaving cream and spary the streets and mean kids if need be. i would never spray anybodys house or anybody for no reason but if they tried to get my candy I would
and shaving cream on the street would just wash off as soon as it rains we have 4 pumpkins this year I like painting them instead of carved because carved will rot out fast.

OH NO.
I'm going to have my cars in the garage. Shaving cream is relatively harmless. I'd rather host down the doors after shaving cream than eggs. They're slimy sticky and hard to clean off.

I'd like to make a shaving cream gun that fires back at people that would be super.

halowe'en? meh. gotta love the illegal (yes, in ireland) fireworks. on the subject of illegal fireworks, I think it'd be safer to make them legal. there could then be some safety guidelines and some standards. now, you don't know what your getting, your fuse might go too fast and blow your hand off.
the bonfires are fun too. this year, my girlfriend is comming over for the family party. that'll be fun.
(oh and now {00.29 am} were officially going out for six months, I never thought my first would last this long!)

Aido179 how nice to see you here again. That sounds like a fun party. In the US fireworks and their legality vary from state to state. I have also known people to have bad incidents with fireworks. And good going on the half year anniversary.

Well, if you don't mind breaking the law, the potential for explosives is endless. If you've got access to a hardware store and the sensibility to not buy all the ingredients at once, you can make anything from small firecrackers to TNT.

There's some spooky movies on all week and Classic likes those they make me a little jumpy so I tend to not watch them much.
