Nikki Goeser

Nikki Goeser's husband was killed in front of her by a stalker while she was in a restaurant. Her handgun was in her car per Tennessee law that forbids concealed carry in bars and restaurants. The stalker waited until he knew Nikki and her husband could not defend themselves. The Tennessee state legislature recently approved concealed carry in bars and restaurants, but Governor Bredesen vetoed the bill. The will of the people be dammed eh Governor?

Kind of like the health care plan. The will of the people vetoed by the executive branch of government.

This is a tragedy obviously. I will need to read further presumably the guy wanted Nikki and saw the husband as a roadblock but I will get more facts before I speculate that.

He wanted her (if only for a few minutes). He knew the laws. He disobeyed the law, knowing that she - a law-abiding citizen - would. He gunned down his blockade (her husband) in a pubic place.
