We have quite a few musical members of this forum. Blix is currently on tour with a metal band and doing some recordings. On youtube aido179 posted updates of some of his travelings and recordings. It looks like both of our members are right on the doorstep of some pretty big steps with their music.
I think this is great. A couple of guys we met through this forum at ages 12 or 13 and now approaching 20 they're on the cusp of possible world wide fame.

I knew Blix was on tour right now. I knew Aido179 was doing some music I didn't realize he was right on the cusp of a record that's great.
I will say a prayer for both of them.
I remember having my name in the major league baseball entry draft, 1993 not being selected. And again in 1994. Then the 1994 hold out thinking maybe if this hold out lasts long enough the teams will sign all the undrafted free agents. Maybe not being selected would be a blessing in disguise. NOT!!!! They canceled the season.
The rest of us bounced around in the minors until we all got too old.
God bless Blix and Aido179 may this dream be reality and never wake from the dream. amen.

I'm not on tour at the moment, I'm dealing with unrelated things for the next couple of months. In August, I'll be heading down to Bergen to write, record and rehearse with the band, and maybe play on a few club nights. We've gotten a few record deal offers, but only two of them are big enough for us to consider. I've got some more news on the band as well, but I'm not allowed to say any more at this time. ^^ Also: Grats to Aido!! Even though we play completely different genres of music, it's still good to hear that you're 'climbing the ladder' as well!

I don't expect you go give out information that the band needs you to keep inside for now. I dont' think anybody else does either. We all understand if something is revealed too soon it can be a problem.
You guys play 2 totally different genres of music like you said but your piano display was a little off your usual path too.
I hope your record deal works out though.
